Lost in The Darkness

Jp Masaki was a soldier in the Army. He didn't really have a set team and that was the reason he mostly went alone during missions. He was called here today by the OSS for a secret covert mission.
He sat on a train with multiple people.
"Good to see you all. We've been expecting you. Your Team consists little to nothing but a team nonetheless. You'll be sent to this village for reconnaissance"
Jp puffed on his cigarette and scoffed.
"We looked into your files, some of you have made a name for yourself during the war. Well that war is coming to a close. Your heavy weapons expert. Alice Belenski. Ruskies got a little bit of a spit fire so whatever you do. Don't get on her bad side. It didn't end well for her commanding officers. The next two are German but they have agreed to share their intelligence with us on the village. They used to live there.
Sierra Lakieria Vansen along with her lover Ezra Vansen. You are to let them guide you into the village and look for anything the Germans didn't want us or the Russians to find what they were up too. So now it's up to you. Your Captain is Jp Masaki. Been in the army since he was sixteen. Hasn't left since then he will be leading this mission"
Jp puffed on his cigarette one more time before standing up. He checked out the two Germans and the Russian.
"What makes you think they aren't leading us into a trap?"
Jp asked.
"Look at their faces...they saw something and they're scared shitless. Your mission is worth checking out. Get it done Masaki"
Jp fumed and wanted to go home.
The Russian woman watched him open the side door on the train car and take in the air.
"You don't want to be here why is that?"
The Russian woman asked.
"Because I did my share of missions. I guess destroying a German U-boat wasn't one of them"
Jp says looking at the dark forest.
"Why are you here?"
Jp asked her.
"To see this mission through"
"It's just reconnaissance doll face...no action...no Real mission. Just a look around and back again"
Jp says.
She offered him a cigarette to make him stop ranting already.
"Just try to be in better spirits...they have seen enough of this war as is"
He took her cigarette and scoffed.
"You keep an eye on your German Friends then"
The woman was named Alice. She felt slightly irritated by her 'Captain' who didn't want to be here.
Ezra sat with Kitty who held a pendant with a picture of her sister. "We're going to find here"
Ezra told her.
Sierra closed her pendant and nodded.
Jp felt the train come to a stop as he looked around and saw they had stopped in the middle of the fucking forest.
"You've got to be kidding me! What's the hold up?!"
Jp yelled.
"Trees are blocking the rails! It will take a while before we clear them"
Suddenly a loud roar could be heard nearby.
"What the fuck was that?"
Jp asked.
Before anyone could get out of the train car.
The train car jerked to the side nearly throwing Jp out of the car.
He grunted hanging on to the door as Ezra and Kitty crashed into the wall along with Alice and a few American Soldiers.
The train car had been flipped upside down towards the edge of the hill.
Then as everyone panted, the bottom was ripped open by some kind of monster that was ridiculously tall.
"What the fuck?!"
Jp exclaimed.
ROAR!!!!!!!!
The creatured roared as a woman that was bound to its chest screamed in pain.
"Xenovia No!"
Kitty yelled as the beast lifted the train car over the hill to go for a tumble in the dark and misty forest.

Alice woke up next to Jp who coughed in pain and couldn't move.
He saw that he was impaled by wood.
"Don't move"
"Forget it...you're the captain now...get them out of here before that thing comes back"
Jp says trying to sit up.
"I am not leaving you!"
She hissed yanking out the wood piece.
He grunted in pain and strained as blood spewed from his wound.
She quickly patched him up as Ezra Helped Kitteria on her feet.
The four heard the screaming of dying Germans nearby.
"German patrols?!"
"They're fighting something else...we must get you patched up"
Alice says wrapping a bandage around his lower stomach.
"Morphine in my pack"
He says.
She grabbed his pack and found it immediately and pulled out the cap with her teeth and plugged it in his side making him wince.
"Just a flesh wound. Once we get out of the snow I can stitch you up"
She says.
"I'll have to carry him on my shoulder. One of you hold the light and the other grab that rifle"
Alice says.
Ezra grabs the rifle while Kitteria grabbed the lantern lighting the way through the destroyed train wreck.
"Can you walk?"
"I don't need your help now I got it"
He says.
"Walk then..."
She said even more slightly annoyed.
Jp scoffed again and took the first step forward only to feel a sharp pain hit his lower abdomen.
He grunted angrily and tried to stand.
"You're stubborn! It's no wonder you don't have any men left to follow you"
Jp winces again and shoved away.
"If you knew better i suggest you keep your mouth shut! You and I might be Allie's in the war but let's not pretend that you wasn't Allie's with that kraut fuck before he tried to invade your glorious Soviet Union"
Jp got on her case which made her want to kill him. Or simply make him bleed.
She lunged for his throat only for him to pin her down on the rock. She grunted feeling his grip tightened.
"Enough we're not gonna see eye to eye on this!"
Ezra yells pushing Jp back on the other side of Alice.
"You're not the enemy! The enemy is down there in our home! If you had shown that much strength together than at each other's throats for power then this war could have ended a long time ago!"
"Coming from a kraut that got inspired by a dead man's book...fucking Nazi scum"
Jp says.
"We do not support Adolf Hitler! If it wasn't for him and his Nazi Regime and God knows everything they have done would have never happened had he just left it alone!"
Ezra says.
"We need you both...to help find my sister...she was taken to the village and this is the closest we can get"
Kitteria told them the truth.
"So this isn't a reconnaissance mission? Just a lie to bring in soldiers to help German Citizens find their people...what the fuck"
Jp wasn't buying this shit.
"If you don't help us! The same thing that happened to the village will happen everywhere else...your homes...your people! Will be just like the village and just like them..."
Ezra says.
"Take us there...then maybe we can work together"
Alice says not wanting to deliberate on this issue.
"Fine...as long as we get out of this cold! I'm freezing my balls off"
Jp hissed limping on the rock.
Alice tried to assist him again as he shot her a death glare.
"Live now and fight later da?"
She glared asking him.
Jp just rolled his eyes.
"This changes nothing Commie"
Jp says limping on her shoulder.
They four made their way towards the darker part of the forest.
Ezra held the rifle as Kitteria held the lantern lighting up the path way.
Jp and Alice walked behind them looking around too.
"I see German weapons but where are the bodies?"
Alice asked.
Jp saw a blood trail that was visible in the snow and found the body.
"Ohh my god"
He breathed.
He had seen a lot of disturbing things in the early days of the war. This was something else. He pulled out his 1911 and looked around.
"Whatever did that was no fucking wolf"
Jp said aiming his gun around the trees.
Kitteria checked the body and looked towards Ezra. She slowly nodded her head.
Ezra aimed the rifle towards the Dead German soldier and fired a single round in the head.
Alice was confused at first.
"Why did he shoot him? He was already dead"
Alice muttered.
They kept going searching the forest a bit further.
