The two of them were walking down the street late at night talking. They had just gone out to a nice dinner together.
"I really do like that restaurant, it's one of my favorites." Ellie said.
"Mine too." Matthew agreed.
Matthew was further in thought about other things, not really paying attention to what Ellie was saying.
"Do you like comic books?" Ellie asked Matthew, her best friend.
"Uh hu, sure." Matthew said absentmindedly.
"Which is your favorite, Marvel or DC?" She asked.
"Yeah, sure." He still wasn't listening to her.
"Matthew, are you even listening to me?" Ellie looked at him.
"Uh hu."
"No you're not." Ellie shook her head, now she was wondering what he was so lost in thought about.
They both arrived at Mark and Sunrise Ruffalo's house.
"Wow we got here fast." Matthew said snapping out of his thoughts.
"Oh now you are paying attention." Ellie raised an eyebrow.
"What do you mean?" Matthew asked confused.
"You weren't listening to me at all on the way here. It's like you completely zoned out."
Matthew looked at her, "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to. I guess I was just lost in thought."
"That's alright." Ellie said with a small smile.
Matthew unlocked the door then they both walked inside.
As soon as they walked in, Ellie and Matthew saw Mark Ruffalo, Sunrise Ruffalo, and Elizabeth Olsen all sitting on the couch with their eyes practically glued to the tv.
"What are you guys watching? Is it Super Bowl or something? You're seriously glued to the tv." Matthew said.
"You have to see this, it's not good." Mark said sounding concerned.
