I was sitting backstage watching Roman on the tv screen when I heard someone from me behind me say excuse me.
I turned and I almost fangirled, it was Trinity.. or well I mean Naomi. "Oh, am I in your way?."
"No girl, I just wanted to come over here and introduce myself considering you're working with my husband's cousin.. and he can be a handful sometimes.. but just know you can always come and talk to me." She would smile at me.
"Well. I was a fan before I started working here, so I already know who you are. I absolutely love you you're one of my favorites, and thank you.." I would smile at her "I'm Teaonna by the way."
"I know and I also know this may seem a little soon.. but I want to invite you to Jonathan and I's home for dinner tonight."
"Uh sure, yeah I can probably manage that." I would look back at the tv screen, watching Roman again.
"Okay, well I will send you the address over texts okay?" She would smile at me again
"Yeah, here's my number." I would write down my number for her and hand it to her.
Naomi would take the paper and walk away, I would turn back to the tv screen and realize Roman was not out in the ring anymore when I would hear someone clear their throat from behind me. I would turn my head to look at whoever is behind me.
He would give me those emotionless eyes again before walking back towards his locker room. I could not see his whole face but I knew he was actually hurt. I would get up from my seat and I would follow him back to his locker room, I'd follow him into the locker room. He would stand in front of the mirror, looking at his face and cleaning up a cut that he had on his head.
I would stand up and walk over to him, grabbing the wet cloth from him and try to help him clean the cut. He would grab my wrist, "What did I say." I would just look up at him and drop the cloth and he would let go of my wrist.
Roman's POV:
**Flashback to almost 2 years ago**
I was standing in a locker room with my wife Galina, it was after a match and I was bleeding from my head. She would grab a wash cloth and start gently wiping the blood from my face. I would look down at her and smile before putting my hand on her cheek, "I love you.."
"I love you too Leati." She would say with a sweet smile on her face, I would lean down and give her a gentle kiss before pulling away and staring down at her. "You know, I don't know what I did to deserve you, but I'm the luckiest man on earth.. thank you for loving me."
*End of flashback*
I would look down at Tea and just shake my head turning away from her, I would look down at my hands which were now gripping the sink and I would think to myself while still shaking my head "You've got to forget about it.. just move on from it all..it happened almost 2 years ago.. why are you still thinking about it..' I would finish cleaning the cut on my head and look at Tea, "you can go."
She would nod grabbing her bag and just walk out of the locker room not saying anything, I would get changed into some street clothes before leaving the building and going back to my empty hotel room. I would walk into the hotel room and I would break down, I would grab my phone from my back pocket and chuck it across the room.
I was bawling my eyes out at this point, I usually don't break this easily.. but Tea reminded me of her... but her beauty does not compare to how beautiful.. stop thinking like that you idiot. You can't not again.. you can not do that to yourself.. I would say this out loud to myself instead of just thinking it in my head..
Tea's POV:
I would head straight over to Trinity and Jonathans house after leaving the building, I would pull into their driveway and notice another car there. I would grip my steering wheel a bit as I let out a deep sigh before climbing out of my car then knocking on their front door. Joshua opened the door "Hey, you must be Tea. Trinity told us you were coming, come in."
I would walk into the house as Joshua closed the door behind me, "Trin and Jon are in the living room waiting. Come on." He would smile at me before leading me to the living room.
"You're here!." Trin would smile brightly at me, "come sit down." I would walk over and sit down on the couch. Joshua would also sit down, but in the chair across from me.
"So, do you want the truth about Roman?" She looked at me which a sad look on her face.
"The truth?" I would question
"Yeah, the reason why he is the way he is.. he hasn't always been like that..." she would nod as she told me this.
"I mean, I would like to know why he acts like that.... He doesn't even let me help him with anything.."
She would nod sadly before starting, "Well.. I'll tell you.." she would bet comfortable in her chair and Jon would have his arms wrapped around her. "So, since you were a fan before you started working with us, you have to know Leati was married.. and has a daughter named Joelle."
"Yes I know, he was married to Galina, and they had a daughter.." I would tell her.
"Yes, Galina... Leati went home sometime last year.. almost two years ago now.. to Galina packing her and their daughters things.. she had asked Joelle to go wait in the car as she talked to Leati.. she told him that she had been seeing someone behind his back and she wanted a divorce and she was leaving.. he begged and begged and begged her to change her mind.. told her he would change.. he was absolutely in love with her.. and this news broke him.. especially the fact that she was taking their daughter.. he hasn't seen Joelle in almost 2 years.."
I would frown and shake my head, "she really broke his heart didn't she.. I was trying to help him earlier.. and he just like wasn't there.. in his mind he was elsewhere.. and the way he looked at me afterwards.. I felt terrible.. I just want to help him.."
"Yeah, he doesn't even talk to any of us anymore.. he's distant and he doesn't ask anyone for help. He would rather be alone, than be around anyone."
