Author's POV
"Tell me the password"
She asked, Bairavan got that laptop from her and typed it on his own, Umaiyazh glared at him...
"This has many important case-related details so, I can't share the password, Sorry"
He reasoned out passing her the laptop he himself opened the chrome window to, Rolling her eyes she went to the state website to fill out the form.......
"By the way, why are we filling this out now? It's past 11 pm. We can also fill it out tomorrow, right? Why the hurry?"
"First reason : most of the official website works faster at night as the surge will be less and there won't be as much server error like daytime
Second: What do you mean by 'hurry'? First, we need to complete this form, and then we'll be summoned to the registration office for document and in-person verification at a specified date and time, which could be anywhere from 15 days to a month from now. Following that verification, and once the witness verification is complete, our application will be approved. Then, we must wait another month for it to be legalized before we are officially a married couple. It's a lengthy process, so we're beginning it today, ACP sir.
The third and most crucial reason is that, thankfully, my father had already persuaded my mother, so I didn't have to do much. However, I want to marry you before she possibly changes her mind and causes a huge fuss. I desire a peaceful marriage, which is why I've opted out of a lavish, extravagant wedding. I hope you understand now and don't require any further explanation. "
After Umaiyazh finished, he released the breath he had been holding for her and handed her the water bottle to drink and soothe herself. He refrained from asking any more questions, at least not until they had finished filling out the form.
They meticulously filled in the details, uploaded the documents, and after several thorough checks, they finally submitted the form. With a deep, contented sigh, they exchanged a smile....
Umaiyazh hugged him tightly and mumbled against his chest
"Congratulations Future Husband"
He chuckled and kissed her head and repeated
"Congratulations my Dear Anndhakanni"
Umaiyazh looked up from his chest and glared at him...
"Once again....I don't like that nickname Mister"
"But I do Madam"
He pinched her nose and kissed the tip, prompting her to chuckle and shake her head in disbelief before burying her face in his chest once more.
When her gaze landed on the photo frame on the table, she extended her hand to grasp it, withdrew from the embrace, and examined the photograph intently.
"Is she your mother????"
She asked and he nodded his head, Umaiyazh furrowed
"I don't know....but I feel like I know her....I meet her somewhere but don't remember when"
Umaiyazh said was still attempting to recollect the memory of the woman in the picture, who is Bairavan's mother.
"Is this just an assumption or I really met your mother ???"
"You actually met her Umaiyazh"
"Huh....really when?.....and how are you sure about that???"
"3 years back....just the day before she took her last breath and you are the reason behind her last smile"
