Laura (My POV):

"And? Have you gotten a response yet?" Valentina asks for the 100th time.
"No, the school hasn't contacted me yet," I answer sadly.

A/N POV:

The three best friends all applied to the K-Pop University School in Seoul. Valentina and Vanessa were immediately accepted due to their talents, but nothing has happened for Laura so far. Vanessa and Valentina have been at the school for almost a month and call Laura every day to ask if the school has reached out yet. Laura always has to say no, until one day.

Laura (My POV):

It's 3 a.m. when suddenly my phone rings. "Who the heck is calling me at freaking 3 a.m.? Some of us are trying to sleep," I mumble annoyed. I grab my phone and answer.

Me: "Hello, who is this?" I ask, sleepy and annoyed.

???: "Hello, am I speaking to Laura Yamamoto?"

Me: "Yes, who are you?"

???: "I'm Choi Jinwoo, the director of the K-Pop University School. I'd like to inform you that you've been accepted. We apologize for the late response. There were some issues with your application, but they've been resolved. We'd be delighted if you could come to our school next Monday, as we've seen great potential in your application. What do you think?"

Me: "Wow. I'd love to come on Monday. Thank you so much for accepting me."

Mr. Choi: "No problem. We'll cover all the costs for your flight to Korea. Your flight is tomorrow at 11:00 p.m. Everything has already been booked. We'll see you on Monday. Have a great day, and goodbye."

Me: "Thank you, goodbye, Mr. Choi."

(Call ended)

Ahhhhhhhhh! I'm so excited! I have to tell Tinchän and Nessel right away!

(Video call with Tinchän and Nessel)

Me: "Hiiiiiii girls, you won't believe what just happened!"

Nessel (N): "What happened that you had to wake us up so early? It's freaking 11 o'clock!"

Tinchän (T): "Yeah, seriously, why are you bothering us this early?"

Me: "Don't be so grumpy. I just got a call from the K-Pop University School from Mr. Choi, and he said I should come to the school on Monday! And the school is covering all the costs. My flight is tomorrow at 11:00 p.m. AHHHH, I'm so excited!"

N: "No way, you're joking, right?"

Me: "No, I swear on our friendship that I'm not lying."

T: "OMG, yessssss! You're finally coming. I'm so happy! We'll pick you up at the airport when you arrive and then show you all around Seoul."

N: "Awesome! Then you better start packing now, because you always take forever."

Me: "That's not true! Anyway, I'm going back to sleep now, because this Choi guy or whatever his name is called me at 3 a.m. So, bye-bye, I'll text you when I've arrived in Seoul."

T&N: "Okay, bye, my love, and sleep well. Dream of us."

Me: "Yeah, yeah, I will. Bye, my loves."
