    ✭・.・✫ even though dani is biologically a decade or so older, she maintains the looks of a 25 year old. she has long blonde hair that she often wears in natural curls that fall past her shoulders to her mid back. her features are striking, sharp cheekbones, full lips, and bright green eyes that usually appear darker with the amount of makeup she wears. she usually wears dark colors and prefers outfits that coordinate, such as leather jackets, combat boots, and a copious amount of silver jewelry.

    ✭・.・✫ dani was born and raised in bozeman, montana, an only child with an absent mother and an alcoholic father. she spent much of her youth on her own, taking care of herself and causing trouble. she taught herself how to pickpocket and shoplift, among other things, and on the occasion she got caught, she became quite good at weaseling herself out of any harsh punishments.
when dani's father died in a drunk driving accident, she moved out of bozeman to live with an aunt in the northern part of the state. 18 at the time, starting over in a new town was difficult for dani and she began reverting back to her old ways. her aunt, who was older in her years, didn't have the energy or resources to keep her out of trouble, and after dani was caught stealing with the intention of pawning for cash, charges were pressed and she was arrested. after spending a few nights in the county jail, her bail was paid and she was released, and a tense fight ensued between herself and her aunt. not too long after, dani ran away from home and never went back.

dani spent the next few years hitchhiking and traveling around the state, picking up odd jobs here and there, enough to pay for food, a motel room, and a stiff drink at the local bar. when she was 25, she was attacked by a vampire posing as a truck driver whom she was hitching a ride from. the result was a decade of hiding in the shadows, attacking defenseless midwesterners under the guise of "the vampire of valley county", a serial killer known for draining the blood out of their victims. dani thrived as part of a nest and over time, they became the family she never had. it was inevitable that they were all wiped out by hunters, forcing dani to go into hiding to avoid meeting the same fate as her kin.

dani met sam and dean when she happened to be passing through a town where people were going missing. all signs were pointing to a larger group of vampires, but dani slipped up and killed a gas station worker, leaving behind a trail that led the pair of hunters right to her. rather than kill her, they made a deal: dani would help them track and trap the next they were hunting, in exchange for her life. she agreed, but as soon as the hunt was done, she escaped before either winchester could go back on their word. however, it wouldn't be the last time either would see of each other.
