Adora woke up to the sound of her blaring alarm clock and punched it to the wall causing it to shatter into pieces sending shards everywhere
"Ughhh and now I have to clean that mess up!" Adora groaned into her pillow but eventually she forced herself up and stood grabbed the broom then started cleaning it up and after all that she started making breakfast
"Catra should be up by now?"Adora said to herself but kept making food and soon she opened a cupboard and groaned
"Really were out of waffle and pancake mix I was hoping to make her favorite...well she'll have to deal with eggs on toast and bacon because that's what she'll have to get"after Adora finished she checked the time
"Okay this is weird Catra doesn't sleep in that long...well I guess I'll just go wake her up" Adora went to Catra's room and lightly knocked
"Catra come on sleeping beauty it's time to get up" no response and Adora smirked
"Okay, okay come on stop playing games it's morning you need your protein love" but as Adora took a step back and Catra didn't come out Adora's brow furrowed in concern
"Okay something is definitely wrong..."Adora whispered to herself and lightly pushed the door open to see Catra still laying in bed her leg twitching slightly her ears tipped back panting and Adora immediately ran over
"Oh kitty are you sick?" Catra looked up at Adora and looked to the side
"No I'm fine just a little stomach bug it'll be gone by tomorrow" Adora kissed the top of Catra's head
"You don't have to lie to me honey being vulnerable is a good thing you have to learn baby...please"Adora gently took Catra's hand flipped it and started rubbing her palm
"No babe I'm really fine"Catra quickly stood up and forced herself not to show emotion in the pain in her stomach
"I just need to eat protein is a good help with stomach bugs trust me"Adora looked down
"Okay...Catra"Adora went to the kitchen and gave Catra the food
"Sorry kitty there's no waffle and pancake mix left I'll go to the store later to make some tomorrow"once Adora finished her sentence she looked up to see Catra wasn't even listening she was staring at her food with a trembling lip
"Catra are you okay?"Adora reached to touch Catra's hand
"N-no I'm...ah...im fine" Catra's lip was trembling because just the smell of the delicious food made her want to vomit
"Sugar your not "fine" let me check something"Adora pressed the back of her hand on Catra's head
"I knew it...your heating up..."Adora said worry clear in her voice and Catra pulled away
"N-no I'm fine..." And Adora sighed then walked to the medicine cabinet and pulled out medicine and just the sight caused Catra to hiss
"No! I'm not taking that! Anything but medicine!!" Catra said getting up on a chair but started coughing and wheezing
"CATRA!"Adora ran over and picked Catra up bridal style
"Baby you can't do that your sick you need to relax here how about I take you to my room and you can take the medicine" Catra hissed
"No no medicine!" Adora couldn't help but smile at her girlfriend
"Okay why don't you like medicine?"Adora asked holding up the pill and Catra's eyes narrowed
"1 they taste gross 2 they hurt to slide down the throat 3 they just look deadly and poisonous and 4 they make me sneeze" Adora giggled
"What!?"Catra said trying to act tough even while being sick
