At the Sahani household, Rachna, Kalindi, and the family anxiously waited for Amrit to return. Anirudh had already arrived home, looking a bit lost in thought.
"Is ladki ke pair ghar par tikte hi nahi hai," Rachna complained, pacing the room. "Hey Mata Rani, pata nahi kahan chali gayi. Acha, Anirudh, tujhe kuch batakar gayi thi?" she asked, hoping for some clarity. "Nahi..." Anirudh trailed off, but his mind was racing. Amrit must be with her boyfriend.
"Mogar bua, ab toh kudi da vyah kar do!" said Mogar bua dramatically. Rachna was about to retort when Kalindi chimed in, "Bilkul Siya ki shaadi toh karwani hi padegi!" "Uff ho, yahan Amrit ka ata pata hai nahi, aur aap log shaadi ke peeche pade ho," Mahendra said, exasperated.
Meanwhile, Amrit and Veer were strolling around near the café when a bubbly girl suddenly approached them.
"Aap Veer Singh hai na?" the girl asked excitedly. Veer, slightly taken aback, replied, "Haan ji, par aapko kaise pata?" The girl beamed. "Arey, aap Nalini Singh ke bete hai. Aapko kaun nahi jaanta? Main toh aapki society mein hi rehti hoon. Can we have a photo?"
Veer hesitated, glancing nervously at Amrit, who was already shooting daggers at him with her eyes. Her crossed arms and fuming expression said it all.
"Who is she?" the girl asked, glancing curiously at Amrit. Veer stammered, "Yeh...she's my friend."
Amrit's jaw dropped. Friend?! She gave Veer a stunned look, then jabbed him sharply with her elbow while the clueless girl handed Amrit her phone. "Please click a selfie for us," the girl chirped, grabbing Veer's hand and pulling him to a better-lit spot.
Amrit, fuming with jealousy, reluctantly clicked their photo but made sure her annoyance was clear in every shutter sound.
The girl then turned back to Veer and asked casually, "Aapka number milega?"
Before Veer could even respond, Amrit stormed forward. "Ae! Excuse me, girlfriend hoon main iski! Aur yeh boyfriend hai mera. Chal ab fur...fur fur ho ja yahan se!"
