Whispers In The Moonlight.

Chapter 1: Emma's Arrival.

The warm air hit Emma's face as soon as she stepped in town. Emma Charles, a gifted artist in her 20s has moved from her hometown to a coastal town to excape from her boring life and unsatisfying relationship. Emma loves art but due to her parents not being able to afford her dreams, she had to accept whatever was given to her. She was in university when she met Alex. She thought he was the one that is until one day she caught him cheating on her. She was devasted and didn't knew what to do and so she made a decision to just move away from all that and start a fresh new life.
So leaving her whole past behind, she decided to move to some place that matches her vibe and a place that would let her showcase her talent. It was summer, the air was warm, the town was bustling with people, and among the crowd was Emma, with a new ambition in life.

"This it Sophia, my new home", Emma said to her best friend Sophia. Sophia had come to help Emma settle in her new home. "I know you are very happy Emma to be out of that place, but do you think your step parents are ok with this sudden decision of yours?", Sophia asked with a concerning look on her face. "Well...", started Emma, I don't know but they were not very fond of me. They got their real children to keep them busy. I was just a burden for them and they must be happy to get rid of me. "Ok, as u say", Sophia added.The apartments are looking good, don't you think? Sophia asked Emma. They sure do!! exclaimed Emma, while running to one of the building.
"Looks like you made your choice", Sophia said while chuckling. "Yes l did", replied Emma while opening her bag. I feel like its too quick and you haven't even looked around as well Emma. We just got here. Let's look around a bit come on. No Sophia, I am going with this apartment, its beautiful. Ok as u wish.

Emma took out the bundle of cash that she had worked day and night for. It was time to put it to use. Sophia had also got money because she wanted to help her friend. "Soph what are you doing?", asked Emma when she saw her friend taking out money as well. "Relax Em, I am just helping my bestie settle in her new home", replied Sophia with a smile on her face. But I can't accept this, its too much girl. Emma can you just shut up. Fuck! You can be so annoying at times girl.
Emma hugged Sophia tightly. "I am so lucky to have you as my best friend in this shitty world", Emma told her bestie. "Always here for you Em", said Sophia. Now lets gets this apartment and get you all settled in your new home. Ok, I am so excited. My very own home, finallyyyy!!!

They bought the apartment which was facing the ocean with a clear view. Emma loves the ocean. It brings her lot of face and she is able to think clearly when she is near the ocean.
"This is beautiful!" screamed Emma while jumping on her bed. Sophia watched her and smiled to herself. She loved seeing her best friend so happy. After what happened with Alex, it felt like Emma had forgotten how to smile or how to even live. Maybe moving was a great idea after all. When Emma told her decision about moving, Sophia wasn't very happy. But now seeing that she is finally regaining back her old self she was pleased with Emma's decision about moving to a new place. As she was still looking at Emma, she thought to herself, I wonder what this new journey has in store for her.... Little did she knew that her friend's life was about to take another turn, but a very beautiful and life changing one.....
