"So what did you do last night?" Pet asked as she shoveled more ice cream into her mouth. I laughed at her, laying back on my towel to soak up the sun. We had gone to the beach for the day, deciding to get in one more day before the cold weather came.
"Oh not much," I replied, not ready to tell anybody about what had happened between Mr. Reynolds and I. I smiled at the thought.
"Me either. I was really bored too. How come you weren't answering your phone?" She questioned.
"I was probably asleep or something. I wasn't feeling too great," I lied. I felt bad lying to her, but I would tell her about everything when I knew what was actually going on.
"Oh okay," she shrugged, buying it. Once she finished her ice cream, she grabbed my arm and dragged me to my feet.
"Come on! Let's go swimming!" She suggested, very excitedly I might add. I rolled my eyes, but smiled and followed her into the water.

"Jasmine! Wake up sweetheart!" A voice called out. I moaned and rolled over, attempting to open my eyes. Bright lights flooded them, stinging my sleepy eyes.
"Come on Jas! You only turn 18 once!" A different voice said. I finally peeled my eyes open to find my parents standing at the foot of my bed. Yawning, I sat up rubbing my eyes and finally realized what was going on. Today, I finally turn 18. The thought of being a legal adult made me smile.
"Good morning sweetheart! Happy Birthday!" My mother exclaimed excitedly.
"We made you breakfast, get dressed and come on down!" My father ordered, just as excited as my mom. They left so I could change. I couldn't help but laugh at their cheeriness.
Showering quickly, I scrunched my hair, put some makeup on, and picked out a skirt and shirt to go with it. I wanted to look good on my 18th birthday.
Once I was satisfied with how I looked, I went downstairs to find my parents in the kitchen waiting. They smiled brightly when I came in. My mother embraced me into a tight hug, kissing my cheek. My father didn't hesitate to pull me in as soon as my mother let me go, squeezing me and kissing my forehead. We sat down at the table, all making small talk about plans for the weekend. We were going up to our house on the lake to celebrate and get away for a few days. My mother served us my favorite breakfast ever. French toast, corn-beef hash, toast, with iced coffee that she had made especially for me the night before.
After about a half hour, we all helped clean up before I left for school.  Grabbing my bag, I said goodbye and drove myself to school.

Pet, Chad, Kyle, Kaylee, and Brandon had all given me hugs and wished me a happy birthday before Brandon and I went to science. It was short, but they were throwing me a small party tonight so all was good.
Science went by way too quickly for my liking. However, Mr. Reynolds had caught my eye multiple times, giving me small smiles all class. He even made sure to brush my shoulder when he walked past. It all made me relax, at least he wasn't regretting what had happened Saturday night. Before I knew it, the bell rang.
"Jasmine, could you stay after for a minute? I just have a question on one of your labs," Mr. Reynolds called out. I said goodbye to Brandon, and once the rest of the class left, I stood at the front waiting for him. Once he made sure everyone had left, he came within a foot of me. His familiar scent made my shiver with delight. Memories from Saturday replayed in my head, making me blush.
"I think we should talk about Saturday," He said seriously, making my heart drop. He was having second thoughts about it. My face must have shown my disappointment, because suddenly his hand was on my cheek, his thumb striking my jaw lightly.
"No, do not worry," he gave me a small smile. "We need to figure it out, is all," he assured me. I let out a sigh of relief, leaning into his hand slightly.
"We can't here though," I said. "It's too risky." He nodded.
"We can go get some coffee or something after school," he suggested.
"I can't today, I have to go somewhere, I responded.
"Tomorrow?" He asked. I nodded, smiling slightly. "Okay, tomorrow it is, then. Where are you going tonight anyways?" He asked, raising an eyebrow, making him look sexily confused. If that even makes sense. I giggled lightly.
"My friends are just having a small party," I said.
"Ahh, I see. Well, don't get into too much trouble," He smirked, taking his hand off of my cheek. "You better get going. Don't be late," he ordered, making me smile even wider.
"Aye aye captain," I said as I started walking towards the door. He stopped me as I was just about to leave.
"And Jasmine?" He called. I turned around, meeting his steel eyes. My heart fluttered.
"Happy birthday," he flashed his perfect smile, making my face heat up.
"Thank you, sir," I said, and turned to leave. How did he know? Probably my file or something. Oh well. He felt the same way about me as I felt about him. He wanted to see me again. That's all that mattered to me.

I know this was just a filler, but I am really tired and wanted to get something up. It's not like I have many readers anyways. But just a thanks to those who do read this! :) Could you maybe vote and leave some feedback? It would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks:)
