For Stella
You awoke to the smell of bacon. You were about to get up when you heard footsteps near the door. You decide to pretend to still be asleep. You hear the door open and someone come in.
" Happy birthday, babe! I brought you breakfast. "
You pretend to wake up, and yawn.
"Thank you, babe. "
"You're welcome! I'm going to take a shower. Hurry up and eat. I'm taking you out."
I did as told. When we were both ready, we left the house. Our first stop was a beauty salon.
"You're getting pampered today."
Kevin walked up to the lady at the cash register and said
"She's getting a manicure and pedicure" he said.
The lady nodded and walked me to a station where another lady was waiting for me.
I got my nails and pedicure done and I was gone.
Next, we arrived at a mall
"Babe, your second birthday present is a shopping spree"
You didn't really want to take advantage of him, but you did easily spend about $400 on clothes and makeup.
After shopping, Kevin drove you down to the beach. he had a blanket and a picnic basket set up for you two.
You both walked over and sat down.
"I hope you have enjoyed your birthday, babe."
"Of course I did, love."
You kissed him.
"I love you" he whispered into your ear.
"I love you, too!" You tell him.
After eating, you both just sit there and watch the sun set.
