As Abhay turned, a wide smile spread across his face. His gaze fixed on the doorway, where Vriha stood. Her soft smile made the world around him blur into the background.

As Vriha entered, the family members greeted her warmly. Abhay, however, was rooted to his spot, utterly captivated. His eyes followed her every movement, oblivious to everything else.

Rhea, noticing her brother's dazed expression, leaned close to his ear and whispered, her voice laced with mischief,

Rhea:- Aise kya dekh rahe ho,apni crush ko baad mai dekh lena agar mami ne aapko dekh liya toh kut jaoge.

(What are you looking at? You can look at your crush later. If mami sees you, you'll be in trouble.)

Abhay snapped out of his reverie, stumbling over his words.

Abhay:- Crush.....crush kaun......meri friend hai wo.

(Crush? Who's crush... she's my friend.)

Rhea smirked and quipped,

Rhea:- Aapse pehle wo meri friend hai samjhe.

(She's my friend before you, understood?)

Abhay shot back, a hint of possessiveness in his tone,

Abhay:- Par ab meri hai.

(But now she's mine.)

she teased, crossing her arms.

Rhea:- Meri friend hai wo.

(She's my friend.)

Before Abhay could respond, Kajal, stormed in, her voice sharp yet familiar.

Kajal:- Khoteya,tu abhi tak nahi gaya nahane, kab jayega?tu sunta kyu nahi hai.

(Idiot, why haven't you gone to bathe yet? When will you go? Why don’t you listen?)

Abhay flinched and muttered under his breath,

Abhay:- Mummy kya kar rahe ho thoda dheere bolo.

(Mom, what are you doing? Please speak slowly.)

Kajal:- Kyu?Tu kahi ka minister hai jo mai teri baat suni, nalayak tu meri baat sunta hai.

(Why? Are you some kind of minister that I should listen to you? You should listen to me.)

Rhea couldn't hold back her laughter, while Vriha smiled softly, amused by the familial banter. Embarrassed but trying to play it cool, Abhay looked at Vriha and offered a nervous smile.

Abhay:- Wo toh mummy ki aadat hai aise mazaak karne ki.

(That's just mom's habit of joking like this.)

Hurriedly, he retreated, leaving the room as everyone burst into laughter. Moments later, the family dispersed to their rooms. Ananya, Rhea, and Vriha headed to Ananya's room, chatting and giggling, when they heard a knock on the door.

Abhay:- Bhabhi andar aa jaun?

( Bhabhi,Can I come in?)

Ananya(smiling):- Abhay aao na.
