*Amy's P.O.V*

We're back at Miyagi-Do again but it's time to determine who will be the female captain. It's myself versus Sam. Cousin versus cousin once again. This is really for all the marbles. Let's do what we do best.

"LaRusso, Dixon. Let's go." Johnny said.

Johnny will be the referee so that the decision is partial. I'm sure if Daniel was doing this, he would have a hard time playing favorites. He wouldn't know what to do. But Johnny will be fair.

Sam and I went onto the sparring deck before we bowed to Johnny and then to each other.

Sam came up to me, raising her fist. "May the best woman win."

I fist bumped her back, feeling determined. "May the best woman win."

We got into our fighting positions, waiting for the signal from our sensei.

"And fight!" Johnny said.

We didn't move for a few seconds before I went for a high knee right away but Sam moved out of the way before throwing her arm. I ducked before going for an elbow but she pushed it away. I turned back around and stared at her before going for a punch and she immediately blocked it before getting the upper hand on me and hitting my abdomen.

"Point, LaRusso!" Johnny said.

I have to tell myself to calm down and take some deep breaths. So I did and got back into my fighting position.

When the fight started back up again, I went for a running knee again but Sam blocked it before giving me a kick of her own. I stopped it and then pushed her back before sending her a kick. She grabbed hold of my leg and tried to move it but I didn't let her have it easy. I positioned myself so that I can flip and then I sent her a kick once I landed. My kick got her in the abdomen.

"Point, Dixon!" Johnny said.

"Make sure they're being safe." I heard my uncle tell Johnny.

"I know what I'm doing. I know how to ref a match."

The fight begun again and we just swung for the fences. We didn't want the same karate that people have seen in the All Valley. We are way past that now. Sam knew it too.

Sam went to leg sweep me and she got me to hit the ground but before she could hit me to gain a point, I rolled over and then stood up and sent a harsh kick her way but she blocked it. That only made me angry. Let me win, damnit.

I'm not playing around now. Sam wants my best and I'll give her my best. I channeled everything I know and went for it.

When I would go for a punch, she would do the same. It was a continuous back and forth. We both were determined but we both know that only one of us would be captain.

Every time she went for a punch or a kick, I'll either block it or push it away. And trying to send one of my own, it only resulted in the same thing. When Sam tried to give me an elbow, I pushed her arm away and went for a punch but she ducked and then sent a kick to my stomach, making me go down.

"Point, LaRusso!" Johnny called out.

Sitting on the ground, it made me realize how unbalanced I am even though I'm trying to be determined. I guess the recent news of me possibly being pregnant and then finding out that the result was negative, I feel like I can't concentrate on this fight like I should've. And I'm fighting with anger, which I don't want to do.

"Amy, are you alright?" Johnny asked.

"I'm tired of people asking me that." I huffed, standing back up. "Everything is fine."
