                  Mattia_finally

The second I saw Nick straddling Sophia, shirtless and smug, I lost it. My body moved before my brain could process it. I grabbed him by the shoulders and yanked him off her with so much force that he crashed to the ground.

Nick groaned, but his pitiful sounds only enraged me more. My fist connected with his face before he could even sit up. Blood spattered across the floor as his head snapped back, and I didn't stop. I couldn't.

"You think you can touch her?" I roared, slamming my fist into his jaw. "You think you can fucking touch her and get away with it?"

"Mattia, stop!" Sophia's voice broke through, sharp and panicked.

Her words made me freeze for a moment, and I glanced at her. Her shirt was torn, hanging off her shoulder, and her legs were tied together with a makeshift bandage. Her hands fumbled at the knots, shaking as she tried to free herself.

Nick let out a groan beneath me, and I turned back, landing one last blow to his face. His head hit the floor with a sickening thud, and I stood, my chest heaving with fury. Jack scrambled to his feet and lunged at me, but I caught him mid-step, grabbing him by the collar and slamming him into the wall.

"You're just as much of a piece of shit," I growled, my voice low and venomous. My fist drove into his stomach, and he doubled over with a sharp gasp.

"Mattia!" Sophia's voice cut through the chaos again, softer this time, but urgent. "Untie me. Please."

Her words hit me like a bucket of ice water. I turned to her and my heart shattered. She looked so small, so fragile, her eyes glossy but refusing to let the tears fall. She wasn't yelling at me. She wasn't mad. She was scared.

I dropped to my knees beside her, my hands working quickly to untie the knots around her legs. My fingers brushed against her skin, and I saw the deep red marks left behind. My stomach twisted with guilt and rage.

Once the knots came free, she pulled her legs up to her chest, trembling. "Honey," I whispered, cupping her face gently. "It's okay. I'm here. I'm with you. You're safe now."

She leaned into me, her fingers clutching my hoodie tightly. "Please," she whispered, her voice barely audible. "Make them go. I... I can't look at them."

I nodded, brushing her hair back softly. "I'll take care of it. Just stay here, okay?"

I stood, turning my full attention back to Nick and Jack. The rage bubbled up again as I saw Nick trying to sit up, blood dripping down his face. Without hesitation, I grabbed him by the hair, yanking him to his feet.

"You fucking touch her again, and I'll end you," I snarled, slamming his head against the doorframe as I dragged him out.

"Mattia, stop—please!" Nick cried, but his pleas only fueled my fury.

"You're lucky she's here, or I'd make you pay for every bruise on her body," I growled, landing a punch to his stomach before shoving him toward the stairs.

Jack tried to back away, but I caught him by the collar. "You're not going anywhere, asshole," I snapped, slamming him into the wall. My fist connected with his jaw, and he let out a sharp cry of pain.

"Mattia!" Sophia's voice called again, softer this time. I turned back to see her trembling, hugging her knees tightly.

"Get the fuck out of here," I spat at them both, dragging them to the door and shoving them outside. Nick stumbled, nearly falling on the porch, while Jack clutched his side, glaring at me.

Slamming the door behind them, I let out a shaky breath and turned back to Sophia. She was still curled up on the floor, her eyes wide and glossy.

I knelt in front of her, pulling her into my arms again. "They're gone, Sophia. It's just us now. You're safe."
