(Itto x reader)
--
Today had been especially hard for you, not only had things been hard at home but all those idiots in your classes weren't making things better in the slightest. So much so that you were about to crack-
It was your last class of the day and you just wanted to go home. Even though you didn't know if home was any better— at least you didn't have to deal with all the people and the noise.. You groaned as a dull ache placed itself behind your eyes, great, just what you needed to end the day.. a headache.
And of course your peers weren't aware of this as the surrounding chatter only got louder, turning your headache into a migraine. Equipping your earbuds you tried to drown out the noise with your own noise, but at least you actually wanted to listen to yours.
As soon as that bell rang you were out of there. Your music couldn't drown out the deafening noise from the hallways— of course your last class had to be the furthest away from your bag. The pain in your skull was becoming an unbearable throb, you were at your limit.

Something was wrong.
Itto couldn't exactly tell but he could definitely sense it. It couldn't be his class, everything was going as it should, no disasters had struck the school randomly or anything like that, so what was it?
And Itto couldn't get that gut feeling from his chest for the rest of class, see he had a thing for his gut feelings.. they were never wrong. After racking his brain for an answer instead of paying attention to the teacher like always, he finally realised.. y/n.
A million different thoughts rushed through his mind as his protective boyfriend radar went on high alert, he already sensed that you were having a bad day, but didn't want to pry— especially if you weren't up for talking about it, but this feeling only reinforced his suspicions. After what seemed like a million years, the bell finally sounded. Without even waiting for the teacher to dismiss him he rushed from the classroom, who cares if he got a detention? It's not like he hasn't had one before. All that mattered to him right now was you. He didn't even take his stuff from the classroom as he left- carrying it or putting it away would slow him down and he might miss you completely.

don't cry don't cry please don't cry don't cry dammit.
Tears sparkled in your eyes, everything was just so loud you couldn't handle it anymore. You would just have to hold it all in till you got home..
please don't cry don't cry don't cry..
Your thoughts raced as your approached your bag, stuffing your things in as fast as possible before swinging it over your shoulders. ... you were just about to leave before you heard that warm familiar voice, Itto.
Finally Itto found you besides your bag, and as if his gut also knew, that pang within him got stronger, his mind flooding with concern for you. He slowly approached, not sure what was wrong until he saw your laboured breathing and attempted to be hide your wet eyes as you stuffed your things into your bag.
Itto didn't care what was wrong, he just knew that you were hurting, and it was his duty as your boyfriend to make you feel better,
"Y/n?" he called softly with an underlying hint of concern. He had caught you right before you were going to leave— without even saying goodbye.. something must seriously be wrong.
"Oh Itto-?" You turned to look at him, plastering a fake smile on your face as you just silently willed for him to go away and leave you alone.
Itto, of course, could see right through your facade,
"Hey.. are you ok..?" He stepped closer with a still lowered and soft voice, completely ignoring everything else going on around him and just solely focusing on you.
"Y-yeah I'm fine.. don't worry!" That stammer cost you, your cover was blown but you still tried to uphold it regardless, "iss.. something wrong?"
Itto's eyes deepened with concern and sadness, you didn't even trust to tell him?
"Y/n.. " he started but didn't know what to say— how to start.
In this moment he opted for using actions instead of words. He quickly stepped up to you and grabbed your hand, and led you to a secluded spot within the campus.
"I-Itto..? W-what's wrong?" Your head was pounding so bad you could barely hear the words from your own mouth.
"..y/n- what's wrong?" He said with that same soft voice, he didn't want to push but he also wasn't leaving here without an answer.
"N-nothing's wro-" you were cut off as your migraine took a sharp turn and tears pushed their way from your eyes and down your face.
dammit, no no stop crying please stop crying,
Itto's eyes softened even further,
"Come here, come hug me right now," he knelt down to your level, (not in a teasing way,) and outstretched his arms, a silent plea for you to accept his embrace.
You nodded shakily and inched your way into his arms, pressing your face tightly against his shoulder and gripping your ears, allowing yourself to become vulnerable.
As soon as you pressed yourself to him, he wrapped his arms round you, one on your back, and one on your waist, pulling you in closer as he picked you up when he stood.
Itto rubbed your back soothingly and whispered quiet,
"shhhh...shhhhh... it's alright y/n.. I've got you now... I've I'm got you, you're okay.." -'s.
Emotions overwhelming you, you sobbed into him, your bag long since forgotten on the ground.
Itto seemed to realise that the pain was coming from your head, as he sat down whilst still holding you- placing you in his lap- and pressed soft kisses into your hair whilst also rubbing your back in a soothing motion.
"It's okay y/n, shhhh...shhhhh... I've got you yeah? You're okay.. I've got you.."
Finally his soothing's took the edge off your pain and your sobbing turned into quiet sniffles.
"That's it... just relax... shhhhh.. I've got you..." Itto murmured soft nothings into your hair between kisses,
"...you don't have to tell me what's wrong... but I will always be here to listen when you are ready.."
