I have a Deathwish
For me and for you
Straight into traffic
No care in the world
The faster you go the less they will see
The Deathwish
I wish for that no one sees
On lookers will see
Only the deceased
A head on collision
With no cushion for my brain
Adrenaline pumping ride threw the night
The alien in me
Decides
Onlookers will see
Only the deceased
As I bleed
From a head on collision
I did not see
As I lay dying
It will only be the end of me
Slowly remembering
I found someplace I enjoy to be
Finally
And all they will see is the dead end of me
Racing to find purpose
Only to find defeat
I love you I know
I apologize for the alien in me.
It decides
When I'll go
We'll meet again I hope
In another lifetime or two
Your last words to me
Where take it with the wind
So I ride it looking always looking for a glimpse
Never believing ; What I see
I have a Deathwish in me
That even you couldn't see
My name on your tongue
Only to be called crazy
Closure was all I seek
So there it is
The truth in me
I have a death wish
I have seen it in a dream
As I lay dying
You won't see me
Perhaps I'll find the purpose I seek
As time slows in my mind
The voices will fade
The kind that worry and couldn't bare to see
The head on collision
I could not see.
