*Niamnh's Point of View*
I don't remember how long our kiss lasted, but it was the most passionate one I'd ever had. I pulled away slowly, smiling down at Dan. He smiled back. I looked into his eyes and saw a look of admiration and adoration. I was positive that I was returning the look.
"So," Dan piped up, "let's go out on a date. I mean a proper date. You and me, dressed nice, at a fancy restaurant on the beach. Do you know any?"
I grinned at him again. "I've lived here since I was eleven, of course I know some. There's a really nice seafood restaurant on Folly Beach that also serves bar food. Like, hot wings and things. Sound good?" I responded. His eyes lit up in amusement--probably at my accidental rhyme--and he nodded his head in agreement.
"So until dinner, what do you want to do? I reckon we go around seven tonight, so we have just over twelve hours until we go." He asked. I thought about it for a second.
"Well, we could go back to my apartment and change clothes, and then I could show you around downtown Charleston. I could show you the historic sights and then I need to dye my hair so we can go back and do that. Then we can go out and then tonight we could go on a tour of a haunted jail." I suggested, feeling quite proud of myself.
"Sounds perfect, but let's stay here for just another few minutes, as I'm really enjoying the view."
"Oh, shit, I'm sorry. I'll get out of your way then." I said, shaking my head and trying to get off of Dan. I feel two hands grab my arms before I can move too much and they keep me stationary.
"No, why would you do that?" He asked.
"Well you said you were enjoying the view..."
He brushed my face lightly with his hand and moved a stray bit of hair from my face. He looked me in the eyes. "I am."
---------------------------------
We got back to the apartment at about 8 in the morning. Hannah was still asleep but Dan and I were able to get in and change clothes without too much noise. The only issue was, that he had no clothes here. I however, had some of Apollo's clothes that I couldn't bring myself to burn.
I handed Dan a dark grey Muse t-shirt and a pair of white skinny jeans. He seemed pleased with the shirt, but he frowned at the pants. "Oh, what's wrong with them?" I asked, pretending to be frustrated. I almost was, considering I was already dressed. I had on an Edgar Allen Poe shirt from the Charleston Ghost Store and a pair of red shorts.
"Well, firstly, it's hot out, and denim is a thick material, I'll quite literally melt. Secondly, they're white. White, ironically enough, isn't exactly my color." He said, furrowing his brow.
I rolled my eyes with a smirk on my face and rummaged around, finding a pair of black skinny jeans. I pulled out my fabric scissors and looked at him. "Now that that's taken care of, how short do you want your shorts?"
"To the knee please." He asked. I chuckled and complied, cutting them off at about the knee for Dan. When I finished, I threw them at him, and chuckled as he scrambled to catch them. "Thank youuuuuu." He said as I left the room so he could change clothes.
Idiot... I thought. I smiled to myself. How'd I get lucky enough for him to show interest in me? I'll never know. He walked out of the room and damn did he look good.
I quickly scrawled out a note for Hannah, letting her know that we wouldn't be home all day and that she shouldn't worry. I taped it to the door and we walked out of the apartment, hand in hand.

I called an Uber and it got to us surprisingly quickly. Our drivers name was Meredith and when she asked us where we needed to go, I simply told her, "King Street."
When we got Downtown, I paid the driver and we got out of the car. I laced my fingers through Dan's and we headed down Charleston at about 11:00 in the morning. We stopped in the Apple store, and in all of the little "pubs", as Dan calls them. We got down onto Meeting Street and we entered the flea market. Dan picked up a stuffed llama (obviously) and I restocked on candles for mine and Hannah's apartment.
We walked down Church Street and into the Spice and Tea store. We walked in and I also restocked on Oolong, Earl Grey, Chai, and Breakfast teas. Dan smirked at me and I rolled my eyes. I like tea, what can I say?
We finally got down to the Ghost Shop. I walked into the dark store with Dan trailing closely behind. We walked up the few steps and got to the main part of the store. I got a few cute little ceramics that I know Hannah would love and I picked up Ginger and Lavender Incense. We needed more anyways and I know that it's our personal favorite. I glanced over at Dan, who seemed completely taken aback by the shirts that they had for sale, and one of the pieces of jewelry in the glass display case--he kept glancing back and forth between the two things.
I snaked my arms around his waist and stood on my toes. I leaned in close and whispered in his ear, "Pick out whatever you want, I'm buying them for you. This is your present, something to remember me by when you go back to London."
He looked back and me and smiled. He asked for the same Edgar Allen Poe shirt that I was wearing and he looked at a necklace that was meant for a couple. It was two halves of a whole skull and was engraved, one half saying "Forever" and the other saying, "Always". It was the most adorable thing and buying it made my day.
He took off Apollo's shirt right then and there, tossing it in the trash can behind the counter, and he slipped on the new shirt, and just like that we were matching. I took the "Always" half of the necklace and fastened it around Dan's neck and he fastened the "Forever" half around mine. We walked out of the store hand in hand, smiling at one another, making small talk as we did.
We walked around the city aimlessly, until we ended up on Rainbow Road. "Dan!" I nearly screamed, "We're on Rainbow Road. Look at the color of the houses. It's so colorful, and they're really expensive. It's my goal to one day live in one of these. You can't change the exterior color though. It's illegal, all you can do is enhance the color, but it has to be the exact shade. Like, the blue-green color of the James Simmons house, you have to have that particular shade of Gunmetal Gray, and for the most part, they don't make it anymore." I explained. "The James Simmons house is my favorite one, because it's named after my friend Rebecca's older brother. We came down here a lot as teenagers, always stopping to get pictures in front of this house."
He looked at me adoringly. "Then there's no better place to make more happy memories." He said, leaning in to kiss me. I kissed him back happily, locking my hands around the back of his neck, pulling him closer, deepening the kiss. Nothing was going to ruin this day, or this moment.
