A/n this is a pick of Abby.

Well I'm glad to say, me and Camron are friends now! And today went off without a hitch! Right now I'm at the football field getting ready to tryout for the cheer team.

Abby is the captain of the cheerleaders. Well if I mess up I know she won't be to ruff on me. "Ashley Hieshinada! Come on up here girl. Okay so we got your music ready. Are you?" She's so nice, I smile and nod my head. She starts the music, and I get into position.

When the song is over I'm on the ground full split to the side, arms in the air. Everyone claps loudly and cheers. "Okay Ashley. That was awesome! Where did you learn to be so flexible!" I stand up while laughing. "Well that's what happens when you live in a house with 18 kids older and 36 kids younger then you. You learn to get through the messes of the nursery."

Abby and the other cheerleaders laugh. "Okay Ashley you are definitely in! Congratulations!" I can't see my face, but I know I have my super happy and cheesy grin! "Oh thank you!!! Ya won't regret it!" I run over to Abby as she stands when I get to her I hug her tightly.

"Okay so you were the last one, so everyone is staying here so we can try on the uniforms. Got it girls?" Everyone answers and we follow Abby to the locker room. I'm so nervous, before I left all the older girls gave me a good beating. They all hit my stomach so now its black and purple.

Abby reaches into a box and tosses me the uniform. I go change and I can't believe what I'm seeing when I have it on. It only covers my boobs and my butt! The bottom is a skirt that an elementary school cheerleader would wear.

"Ashley? Are you okay? Does it fit?" Shit! Abby! There is NO hiding it! My whole abdomen is black and purple! "I'm comin Abby." I step out behind the curtain, my face down. I hear Abby gasp. Her voice is barley a whisper. "Ashley, what happened to you?

"Abby, all the older girls at the orphanage beat me up right before I left. But it doesn't matter anymore. I won't see them ever again!" I say the last parts cheerfully. Because it's true! Abby smiles at me like a best friend would. I relax a little when I see her smile. "It's okay Ashley, I know a thing or two about covering bruises."

She then gets out her makeup bag and begins to apply all sorts of stuff to my stomach. Five minutes later she finishes. "Okay Ashley. There all gone! Now we can go outside and practice!" I look in the mirror. She was right, there are no marked on me.

"Thank you Abby!" I hug her tightly around the neck. We then all walk outside and practice for 2 hours. The makeup still there. Out of the corner of my eye, I see camron watching in the stands. "Okay everyone! That's enough for today! Everyone meet here ext week, same time!" Before I go to the locker room I head over to Camron.

"Hey Cam. What ya doin here?" He looks down at me, damn my shortness! "I came to see you. I heard from Jane that up you made the team. What kind of friend would I be if I didn't congratulate you. Georgian. But I can't understand why they picked those for the uniforms."

I looked down at myself. "I can understand your frustration. I hate em too. But I so happy! I'm finally a cheerleader!" He quirks his eyebrow. "You weren't a cheerleader in Georgia?" I laugh awkwardly.

"Nah, when I was in Georgia, I was beaten everywhere I went. Is I always had bruises covering me from head to toe. The director of the orphanage didn't want the police into it cause it would ruin the other girls chances of being adopted. So, yeah that's why." I looked away ashamed. I don't know why I told him that! We might be friends but I doubt he would care about something like that!

I can't look at his face. I just can't! The next thing I know I feel two arms around me. What!?!!?!??!! "Cam?" My face is in his chest!!! Fuck! "Its okay Ashley. You're not thinking about what happened are you?" Her then laughs. Like this is what friends do. How the hell would I know what friends did!

He then let's me go. "Ashley I think you need to change. You shouldn't go home in that. Especially not in New York." I smile big at him. "Good idea! Well I guess see ya later then. Bye!" I then run towards the girls locker room. I don't understand what made him embrace me, but it was nice.

I get my regular clothes on and go outside. And John is standing there. "Hey John. What's up?" He laughs at me. "Well I came to see if Abby has my homework from last period. We sit beside each other and she grabs my things sometimes." I laugh and so does he.

"Well I need to go home. See ya!" I
