I dropped him off at his house. "where are you going"  he asked. "I am eating outside" I said as he sighed and said "sure just be careful" I nodded and drove off. I went to the new restaurant and got off. I go into the restaurant as I had a call, and it was from Mom? what she never called so what happened "hi mom whats up " I said. "darling me, Charlie and Chloe are in japan because of some business and I wanted to meet you" my mom said. it all started very long ago mom and dad had different companies and they usually went to business trips they had an arranged marriage and they weren't in love. then one time my mom found out Dad cheated on her. she was so angry she went on and cheated on him. Dad cheated on mom with a girl called Stephanie and he had a child with her months before I was born, and my mom she started dating the guy that got her pregnant. I was like  a bridge that kept their marriage together but it broke out when I was ten and here I am living alone in japan, yea sure I was asked to go with them but then I didn't want to go with mom since her husband and daughter were so cruel. thats why I am here living alone. "sure mom I am at R/N (restaurant name) come there" I said, "sure then I am coming" she answered then hang up. I ordered roasted  turkey with banana pudding. I saw her and waved at her and she came to me. she was wearing a black mini skirt with black coat and black boots, holding a Louis  Vuitton bag and wearing a large diamond neckless and Gold earrings. she started walking toward me while holding her husband Charles who she called Charlie, he was wearing a black suit while her daughter or my step sister was walking behind them wearing a short skirt with a t shirt and old school jacket. she was watching her phone. they came and sat next to me as I hugged mom and said HI to Chloe and Charles. they ordered pasta as we started eating. "so how is your school going" mom asked. "good" I replied, "and akashi" she said giving me a curious look. "he is fine I was just with him but he had piano lessons" I said. "and who are you dating" Chloe asked"no one I ..." I was interrupted when Chloe said "really still single" I rolled my eyes at her and then ignored her. we finished the food and went to home. they followed me with their car and I went with my own. we entered the house as I gave them a guest room ofcourse separate one and then I rest for the night. 

the next day 

The next morning, I woke up to the sound of muffled voices. Mom, Charlie, and Chloe were already awake, probably discussing business. I tried to ignore the tight knot in my stomach. I had to keep my distance. Their world felt foreign to me, filled with expectations and judgments I wasn't ready to face.I stepped into the kitchen, hoping for a quiet breakfast. But there they were—Mom, flipping through her phone, Charlie, sipping coffee while scanning the news, and Chloe, scrolling through social media. Their laughter felt sharp, slicing through the silence I craved. I felt like an outsider in my own home. Chloe caught my eye and smirked. "You should join us more often," she said, her tone dripping with sarcasm. The jab stung."Right, because I'd love to be part of your perfect little family," I replied, my voice colder than I intended. Mom shot me a look, the kind that said she wanted to smooth things over, but I wasn't ready for that. I grabbed a piece of toast and walked out, needing air, needing space. I wandered outside, feeling the weight of their expectations on my shoulders. I thought about Akashi. He was the one person who made me feel normal. I pulled out my phone, hesitating to text him. Would he understand? The door creaked behind me. Mom stepped out, her expression serious. "You can't keep shutting us out like this," she said. I felt the tension rise. I didn't want to fight, but the truth was, I felt trapped. "I just need some time," I managed to say. The look in her eyes told me she didn't understand. I cant be with them yes I forgive them for devorcing even though its still a sin but they didn't love each other. but I was hurt in the middle they both had a perfect family while I had none.  after I texted him he arrived in five minutes since we are neighbors.we entered the kitchen "hello Mrs. Adriana, Mr. Carlos and Mrs. chloe " he said politely as they greeted him. "come eat breakfast with us" I said as he nodded and sat next to me. "seijuro how is school" chloe said as he raised an eyebrow. "that's Akashi for you" he said as I chuckled. "sei  is our plan still up" I said as he nodded while chuckling. 

Sei's presence in the kitchen shifted the atmosphere, if only slightly. He was a breath of fresh air, a reminder of normalcy amidst the chaos. As he settled in beside me, the tension in my chest eased just a bit. Chloe kept glaring at me but I didn't care. "So, Sei, any plans for the weekend?" Mom  asked, her voice laced with forced cheerfulness.  "Just hanging out, maybe playing some basketball." He said as he looked at me as I yawned. "Sounds fun," Mom said, . I bit into my toast, chewing slowly, trying to avoid eye contact with both Charles and Chloe. I didn't want to talk about plans. I wanted to forget about the expectations. I needed a moment where I could just breathe.Chloe, ever the instigator, leaned in. "What about you, though? You should join us, you know." Her voice was sweet, but I could hear the sharp edges. "We're doing this whole family thing, not like you would understand" she said as I glared at her and mom scolded her as I smirk.  "I have plans With Sei and the others," I shot back.
