Hi, I just wanted to say I'm not really good at starting a fanfiction like this nor will I be uploading regularly as I have personal matters to attend to as well.
Hope you understand and still read this story... Some of this will not be canon(I think... Also I'll leave some comments/information like that from time to time)
Without further ado let's start with the story.

'Why is this happening..? Why do I have to be the one to suffer..?' those two questions were the last thing Cale Henituse thought about which were left unanswered. Shortly after he woke up again from being beaten into a pulb by that stage man the Henituse territory was attacked killing his beloved family and many more only leaving him as the sole survivor. Then he worked under the rule of the Crown prince. He lived up to his mistake and apologized to Choi Han and later on became good friends with him only to see him, Beacrox and Ron being killed by that man that looked so much like him. The man known as the white star took a liking to his appearance and after destroying the entire Roan Kingdom he took him back to his own kingdom as a 'souvenir' a reminder of what he had done. There he lived for many more years constantly being kept in the castle not allowed to leave and punished severely if he tried to leave, leaving him close to death's door multiple times yet he somehow always survived even without healing potions. To that came that he seemed to age very slowly as this treatment continued until he was far over 900 years old just to be killed by the white star who finally grew tired of him(or so he thought). Cale remembered the scenery around him at that time they were in Barrow's bedroom as he was tied to one of the bed feet as a punishment for trying to escape. Barrow was showering him in praises talking about how beautiful he looked and how obedient he had become since being locked up in the room. The next thing he remembered was sitting in the older man's lap as he hugged him tightly giggling in an obsessed way as he started to squeeze the life out of him. When he tried to tell Barrow that he could barely breathe the man became extremely angry and killed him by strangling him(little did he know Barrow didn't actually want him to die).

Current time

Cale was startled awake by a familiar and warm voice calling his name. It was Ron, he was sure of it. Cale drowsily opened his eyes as he looked at the butler before he fell out of bed in fright because he was standing directly next to it.

"Ow-" the redhead proclaimed as he landed on the ground although it was quite low spoken the smile on the butler disappeared for a brief second before it returned.

"Good morning young master. The count wishes for your presence today at breakfast." Ron said as he helped the young redhead up.

"Ah... Tell him that I'll come as soon as I brush my hair. I want to do it myself today, if that's alright." Cale replied wondering why Ron looked so tall to him and wanted to see for himself what he looked like as Ron seemed younger than he remembered last seeing him.

"Of course, I will deliver your message." Ron answered bowing slightly as he exited the room thinking about what an interesting puppy his young master was.

Cale quietly went into the bathroom attached to his bedroom picking up the brush from the counter which also seemed quite high for some reason yet he easily managed to pick it up. He then turned to the full body mirror that had already been placed in the bathroom and dropped the brush. What he saw was a child. No... His ten year old version looks back at him. He picked up the brush and started to comb his hair as if nothing was unusual. Afterwards the redhead made his way to the dining room accompanied by Hans where Deruth and the rest of his family were already waiting for him.

"Good morning, Cale Hyung..." Basen didn't look up at him but quietly greeted the redhead.

"Good morning, Basen." Cale shook his head slightly at the shy greeting as he sat down across from his father which gained multiple weird looks towards him not only from his family but from the staff present as well. "You wanted to talk to me father?"

Deruth flinched slightly before he answered his son. "Ah... Yes, I wanted to talk about your upcoming birthday... You're turning nine right?"

"I'm turning eleven, count Deruth." Cale answered as if nothing was wrong with the fact that the Count didn't even know the age of his own son. He was also talking quite formally as if he wasn't part of the family. In truth Cale said that as he had no memories of this ever happening and him having been disowned shortly before the attack on the Henituse territory.

"Would you like to invite some people?" Deruth asked, pain evident in his voice as he listened to Cale's distant one.

Cale thought carefully for a moment before he answered. "Yes, I would like to invite prince Alberu, princess Rosalyn, Lock, Tailor Vineon and Priestess in training Cage." Cale's answer was quite a long one without any of his friends. He knew they were strong allies to have and that he needed their support as backup to not get kicked out of the kingdom.

What surprised everyone as he invited people he didn't even know other than by name. He even planned to invite the princess of a neighboring kingdom.

"I'll see what can be done. Say... When's your birthday again..?" Deruth answered truthfully before asking Cale feeling ashamed of himself for not knowing his own son's birthday.

"Depends... What is today's date?" Cale asked.

"It's the 22nd of November, young master." Ron answered Cale's questions.

"Then my birthday is in around two to three weeks. On the 15th of December(I made Cale's birthday up as I don't know if his actual birthday is ever mentioned)." Cale answered Deruth's questions before he started to eat.

While eating Cale suddenly choked on his own food staring out the window which made everyone else look as well. Actually Cale wasn't looking out the window but at a blue screen that had suddenly popped up out of nowhere.

~~~~|System loading|~~~~
Welcome master.
You have been chosen by the Gods
To receive this system which will help you
On your journey to strength and ascension
For your new life as a new god.
Cale stared at the screen in disbelief. This wasn't how his life was at all. Why is this happening? It seems to him like no one else can see this 'system' so he'll have to figure it out himself. Cale sighed which caught the attention of everyone. Yet he ignored the stares unknowingly creating a misunderstanding that he was looking forward to meeting the people he had previously mentioned.
That evening
Cale was sitting in his room now having figured out how to open and close the system. He still couldn't believe that this was actually happening as nothing like that happened in his previous life. Maybe it was because of his regression? Cale didn't know but this whole thing was making him incredibly tired so he closed his eyes and laid down to rest.
Soo... That's the first chapter. Was it good..? I'm not sure myself... I let my imagination run wild on this story which I hardly do as I mostly have a well prepared way I want the stories I write to go... So this is me trying something new about writing and looking if I should do the same thing with the other stories as well... Please tell me your thoughts about this I would really appreciate it. Though If you haven't heard from me for over two weeks you can write into the comments to get me right back on track with making this.
