I opened the door to see my brother excited with my presence."I'm so happy that you're back" he shouted happily, I smiled and looked around if I'll see those so called couple "they went on a date"Bernard said. A sigh seemed to perced his words,as if the very thought pained him."They left you all alone" my words hung in the air,heavy with sorrow. "Let's not make this air sad"he said, the words were a tender attempt to make the mood better.
"Look what I got you" I said raising up the nylon containing his toy "bumblebee" he screamed happily as he collected it from my hand. He hurriedly tore the carton and immediately started playing with it "what's on the second bag" he said fixing his eyes on it."oh nothing"I said placing it at the back of me."hmm" he said suspiciously and continued playing with his toy, while I put the cake in the fridge. I went upstairs to freshen up and came back down stairs to watch over Bernard. I took half of a watermelon from the fridge and took a spoon to dig in,I sat on the couch and started pressing my phone. I saw a new message it was lily my new friend, I immediately sat up crossing my legs on the couch excitedly. "Why are you smiling?" Bernard asked suspiciously "chatting with a friend" I said trying to look at what she sent me, it's a gif saying hello,I sent same back and smiled happily."hmm"Bernard continued "or is it your boyfriend"he said smiling weirdly "kid,you got it all wrong, she's a girl not a boy come look for yourself" he came over and saw her picture,"wow, she's hot"he said happily,"I know right"I said with a smiley face.
"Do she have a brother?" he continued with his investigation."yeah, but I've not actually met him" I said looking at him"why'd you ask" "nothing, I just hope he's as hot as his sister". "Wait why are you so interested in her brother" I looked at him trying to read his mind"to hook you both together of course" he said fast."what!!,if you say that again I'll spank you real bad you won't feel your butt" "okay okay, sorry "he said as he raises both his hands in self defense and gets up to continue playing with his toy.
I continued pressing my phone when a new message came in.
Lizzy: excited about tomorrow 😄😁
Me: yeah right, I'm gonna make the day special for both our brothers. So how's he doing.
Lizzy: still sad, he's not even talking,all he does is drinking,I had to fill water into a bottle of beer.
Me:wow, I feel so sad about that, please take good care of him.
Lizzy: I'm really trying,oh,he needs me , I'll with you later
Me:ok bye.
I feel so worried about him,so this is how it feels to have a friend,you feel sad when they are troubled.
