I stood in line with my arms crossed against my chest, anxiously waiting for the receptionist to return with my room key.

My teammates had already gotten theirs, but I had to return to the travel bus to grab the makeup bag I left in the bathroom. So here I was, all alone, looking around hoping to spot that hot Korean guy again.

"Here you go dear," The old lady said as she handed me the keycard to get me into my room.

"Thank you!" I replied politely, while grabbing my suitcase and backpack, heading to the elevator down the wide hallway.

Before I could reach the elevator, I slowed down, recognizing the friendly faces of Miyagi-do, the dojo I had been acquainted with for a year in America.

The boys were in their own world, discussing something to do with.. Demetri farting in his sleep?

Gross, but whatever.

I passed them, not wanting to intervene in their conversation, but stopping and smiling to greet Devon and Sam.

"Hey guys!" I spoke cheerfully. They both turned to me quickly, their once-serious faces lighting up.

"Annette! It's been forever!" Says Sam, who puts her bags down and gives me a quick hug.

"It's so good to see you again!" Smiles Devon. I had always liked her and Sam, but if we are being honest, I was closest with Tory, who was now on the opposing team. Besides, me and Sam definitely had our moments.

"How are you guys?" before they could respond, I lowered my tone and added, "I saw Tory with Cobra Kai. How is Kreese even out of jail?"

Before they could reply, a voice cut them off.

"Whoa. So you're the famous Miyagi-do? We have heard about you.. but I do not know why. You do not look like much."

There he was. Standing a couple of feet away from me was the boy I had been eyeing only a few hours ago. His eyes were glancing over each member of Miyagi-do, before they landed on me, his lips forming into a smirk.

"I'm surprised you are choosing to talk to this dojo, if I were you, I wouldn't want to be friends with such weak people," He says to me, his eyes once again looking me up and down.

"I don't think I want to hear any advice from a boy who looks like he has more enemies than friends," I say confidently while grinning, copying his motion of tracing my eyes up and down his tall figure. His brows raise, but his smirk grows bigger at my remark.

Before he could reply Hawk intervenes,

"Yeah? You'll see better when you step on the mat tomorrow."

"Come on, guys. It's not worth it" Robby says sternly while putting a hand on Hawk's shoulder.

"Robby's right. Forget about them, okay? They're just any other dojo here." Miguel speaks.

Before the group could fully walk away, a blonde head walked past all of us hurriedly, Tory. Everyone's head including mine turned to watch her walk towards the elevator, Robby quickly following her.

The tall Korean guy and his friends began walking through our group, shoving Hawk's shoulder and scaring Demetri. Sam and Devon moved to the side but I stood still, not willing to let them force their way through me.

Both of his friends moved around me, talking to the tall boy in Korean. As I am listening to this, I hear them refer to him as Kwon.

I had finally figured out the boy's name. Because of my sneaky eavesdropping, I didn't know that Kwon himself stood right in front of me, his face only a foot from mine, refusing to maneuver his way around me to get to the elevator.
