Forever and always

Chapter 1 - reunited -

After battling off the in-humins, Coulson's team went in search for agent Ward when they heard of some uprising with hydra. They found him and took him under their captivity. It's now been 3 months since he's been there and hasn't had any contact with the others there.

"Skye, please report to my office ASAP. Thank you." Came Coulson's voice though the whole base. He waited 3 minutes before Skye showed up. "What's up DC?" Said Skye. "DC?" Questioned phill. "You know, 'D' for director instead 'A' for agent." Stated Skye. "I don't like it." Phill replied "Yeah me neither. So, why did you call me here?" Asked Skye. "Well, we've been asked to go on a mission- "Oh cool! Where to?!" Skye asked excitedly. "As I was saying, we've been asked to go on a mission to Brazil. Some in-Humans came back and we need to bring them in for questioning. Fitzsimmons, May, and I will be going." "Wait, what about me? What am I gonna do?" Coulson just looked to the ground at her response. "You won't be going-" he was cut off by Skye when she said "What do you mean I'm NOT going?! I know how to deal with this stuff more than any of you! Why, WHY are you not bringing me?!!" She asked with anger evident in her voice. "Because I've given you a different mission- he was again cut off by Skye which he knew that she was going act that way. "ARE YOU CRAZY?!!" She asked now yelling. "ANYWAYS," Coulson yelled back giving her a look making he mumble 'sorry' to him. "You have a different mission because we need you for something else right now. Our mission to Brazil will last at least 3 weeks, if not longer. Well keep in touch every two days updating you on what we've got. If I don't call you, then May will. But if you don't here from us after 3 days from our previous talk then something's wrong. You are our only back up Skye. And that's why I'm giving you a different mission." Coulson said. Skye stood up straight, crossed her arms, and quietly sighed. "What's my mission?" She asked  "Ward." Phill replied. Just then Skye's mouth slightly dropped and her eyes slightly opened. Trying to accept what he just said and making an effort to show the least amount of emotion she could even though she was very surprised and not expecting that. She didn't really want to see him or do whatever she had to in this 'mission' but will never admit those things. Despite how she felt, she would do whatever Coulson needed her to do.
