"𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐎𝐑𝐀" my mother called out as she was rushing me to pack. I didn't want to go that was for sure. Ever since my father's disappearance I've been emotional, i bearly go out anymore. I'm a 'lazy teenager' as my mother likes to call it.

"For gods sake we're going to be late because of you"
She spoke out frustrated more then ever. "I'm sorry I'm coming now" I say faintly smiling at her. I grab a phew more things to put in my carry bag and glance at my room one more time. I spotted a picture of me and my dad when I was little. My eyes started to water as I quickly whipped them off my face "god I think I starred to hard" I said to myself in embarrassment.

..I started dozing off in the car as my mums Taylor swift playlist was quietly playing in the background. "God mum turn this off, it's making my head hurt"
"What! You don't like Taylor swift" I look up at her in judgement "no ew,you should know I don't"
It's no surprise she didn't know. She never knows anything. Back at home she left me alone most of the time she said apparently she was in 'work' but I know my mother. She was probably having an affair with a bunch of men or most probably sucking them of for 20 dollars.

The rest of the ride was silent the only sound was of the engine of the car . I began to doze off to the sound of my mum humming to a song from when I was little. God I miss my mum. I miss when we were actually in the same room together for more than 1 fifteen minutes.
I miss when she would tell me how much she loved me
I miss when she would spend time with me. I just her.
But everyone misses someone every once in a while dont they?

I woke up to the feeling of cold breeze rushing against my thigh. I grab my mums opened energy drink can from the drink holder as I wait for my mum to come back. Then the realisation hit me "where the fuck is she" I got out the car and started looking around. "Oh no,no,no Fuck!" I screamed slamming my hand against the roof of the car. I kneeled down on the side of the car with my hands in my hair "she's just like him" I cried.

I grabbed my phone from my pocket the only person I can think of calling..

"Hello?" I spoke out to my phone
"Oh god hey pandora I haven't seen you in ages, how are you and mum holding up"?
"Kie im in Outerbanks I need you to pick me up"
"What! I didn't know you were coming Uhm where are you"
"Great question kie, I don't fucking know!" I said screaming into my phone .
"Okay chill. I'll get pope to track you through your phone we will be there soon"
"Pope who- before I could say anything the call got cut off .

I loved kie she was the only family member that didn't leave me. She was the best cousin I could wish for. She told me about her friend group and some people she Dosent like. She kept on going on about some kook,pouge bullshit. At first I thought it was a weird brand of cereal that they had in America
But apparently it's something to do with people being rich or poor.

A couple of minutes went past that felt like a hour and I heared honking in the distance. I saw kie waving at me through the window. "Finally" I whispered. I watched as kie got out of the car and ran up to me "Hey pandora you look stunning" she said as she hugged me tightly. "Thank you you look amazing" I say hugging her back

It was obvious I missed her. Who wouldn't miss their cousin after last seeing them about three years ago. I looked behind her look at the van type car. "Kie why does your car look like the scoobydo van" I giggle to myself. "Are you serious I just saved you from the middle of no where and your criticising me about my car" I looked at her laughing at her response. "Just get in" she says.

I slide open the door and I see three more people sitting there. I smile at them not wanting to be rude since I don't know them. "Guys introduce yourself" kie says annoyingly looking at the blonde and brunette guy. "Howdy I'm jj, jj maybank to be exact" he says taking his hand out. "God you have a lot of energy don't you" I say laughing. "I'm pandora, kies cousin" I say locking my hands with his. "Jj move it's my turn" a blonde girl says as she pushes jj out the way. "Oh my god you're beautiful. I'm Sarah cameron". She says stearing at me up and down. "Thank you I'm pandora". I introduced myself to the rest of kie's friends and we were on the road.

This was my first chapter how did you guys like it 🤍. I know this was abit short but I just wanted to make my first chapter short so you guys woukd get the idea of where this story was going. xx
