Playing the Player

Chapter 1

Great! Just great! I have to leave my friends, boyfriend, cousins, ughh I don't wanna move. I'm moving from a small town in Pennsylvania to California. It's only gonna be my mom, brother Mike, and myself. This is my last day of packing before we leave. Since I'm pretty much done I'll go to school and say goodbye to everyone.
I get in the passenger seat of my moms black mustang and we drive off. She drops me off at the entrance of the building where Asher, my boyfriend, was waiting for me. I jumped into his arms and he held me tight. Once finished with our moment we went inside to meet up with our other friends. Emma, Lindsey, Toby, Sam, and Gabe were waiting for us at the usual table. I decided to go through my whole day saying goodbye to my friends that are in my classes.
At the end of the day I was with all my friends hugging them one at a time until I got to Asher. That's when I lost all control and started to sob into his shoulder. He held me close to him, and whispered in my ear "It will be alright if we keep loving each other, Luna." I looked up at him. His big brown eyes stared into mine. I could only nod at his words before he pulled me into a kiss. A kiss filled with love and passion. A honk of a car caused us to break apart. When I turned around I saw my brother Mike waiting for me very impatiently. Mike is a year older than me with dirty blond spiked up hair. He has deep blue eyes, tan and a decent body. I said goodbye once more and hopped into his car.
We arrived at home just in time to get into the private jet. Did I forget to mention uh I'm kinda rich. My mom is a director and we're moving to California because of her job. As soon as we took off I fell asleep in my bed area. I woke up by being violently shaken. I opened my eyes to see Mike with an excited expression. "Luna we're here c'mon let's go into the house! Everything is already here!" He basically screamed at me. I got up and followed Mike out of the jet and into the huge house. I have to admit it is a beautiful home. "Luna, Mike come up here please" my mom called from one of the rooms upstairs. We had to search every room until we found her because we didn't know our way around the house. She was in her new bedroom rearranging everything to where she liked it. "Okay you two since it is Saturday you guys will be starting school on Monday at Ridgeway High. So be prepared to take Luna to school, Mike. Oh and uh I will have to leave for a little business trip tomorrow."
"How long will you be gone?" I asked

"Oh um 6 months top" she answers

"What! No mom please!" I didn't want her to leave for so long

"Don't worry Mike will be in charge. I'm leaving first thing in the morning. I love you guys. Now, it's getting late so goodnight and see you soon." She hugged us and kissed us both on the cheek. Wishing us luck at school and showing us to our rooms. Man I hope school isn't gonna be a bust. Who knows maybe I'll meet some new friends. Well, can't wait to find out!
