The air trembled as Gordon's massive weapon swung in a deadly arc, crashing with earth-shattering force just inches from me. I barely dodged the attack, the gust of wind from his swing pushing me back. The ground beneath me cracked open, sending debris flying in all directions. I stumbled, regaining my balance, adrenaline rushing through my veins.

"He's relentless," the woman hissed, eyes scanning the surroundings. "We can't keep dodging like this."

I gritted my teeth, turning to her. "We don't have much of a choice. What are we gonna do?"

The woman glanced over her shoulder. Gordon's slow, deliberate steps were heavy, his monstrous form moving toward us with the menace of an unstoppable juggernaut. His bloodshot eyes glinted with fury.

"We run. We plan. I'll set something up."

We sprinted, moving as fast as we could while the air vibrated with the sound of Gordon's thundering steps behind us. Each swing of his weapon smashed against pillars and walls, shattering stone and dust.

"We can't outrun him forever. Tell me when you're ready," I called, my voice tight with tension. My mind raced, trying to think of a way out.

The woman didn't answer right away, her focus absolute. As we rounded a corner, she slipped into the shadows, her hands moving swiftly as she planted something along the stone floors. Small, glittering objects, hidden from view.

"Done," she said after a moment, her voice low and urgent.

Without hesitation, I charged back toward her, but Gordon was right behind me, swinging his massive weapon with destructive force. I felt the wind from his blows. If we didn't move fast, it would be our last.

"Now!" the woman yelled.

I darted to the woman's side just as Gordon's massive boot slammed down onto the floor, crushing the ground beneath him. His foot sank into a hidden trap, triggering an explosion of flame and force, the ground shattering, and sending rocks and debris flying in all directions.

The shockwave threw us both off our feet. Dust choked the air, and the smell of burnt earth filled our lungs. As the smoke cleared, we peered through the debris, but Gordon stood, unfazed, his massive form unscathed. The air hummed with the sheer force of his power.

Hyacinth's voice rang out, a cruel taunt floating in the air. "Gordon! Don't play with them. Kill them already!"

The giant ogre's eyes burned with rage, his grip tightening around his weapon. He howled in fury, slamming his weapon into the ground.

"We need more," the woman muttered. "I can't take him down with just those."

I glanced at her, impressed by how fast she was working. "You're amazing. Keep going," I urged. I ran forward to distract Gordon, dodging the next swing of his weapon. We both separated, moving in opposite directions to avoid becoming a single target.

The woman's quick hands continued to plant traps, sprinkling powder over the floor and setting up the next bomb. Each move was calculated, precise.

Suddenly, Gordon's massive weapon flew toward us with terrifying speed, cutting through the air like a storm. My instincts kicked in. I dodged just in time-barely. The weapon crashed into the stone wall, destroying it in an instant, the ground shaking beneath my feet.

The woman cursed under her breath, retreating behind another pillar. "I'll use his own weapon against him."

She set the final trap: a small vial of gas, sealed with a clever device. The vial would release the gas as soon as Gordon touched his weapon.

We ran again, splitting apart to make him chase us. Gordon, roaring in fury, picked up his weapon from the wreckage and aimed it in our direction. His eyes, now bloodshot with rage, were focused solely on us.

Just as he swung the weapon, he stepped right into the trap. The vial shattered, releasing a thick, poisonous cloud of gas around him.

Gordon froze for a moment, his massive hand twitching. Then, in an instant, the gas exploded, erupting with fiery intensity. His hand and face were burned, skin blistering as the explosion rained down on him. Gordon roared in pain, his weapon falling to the floor with a heavy thud.

I stared in awe at the woman. "You did it."

For a moment, it seemed like we might have the upper hand. But then Gordon's growls grew louder, deeper. His eyes glowed with an eerie light as his body began to change. The skin along his face and hands bubbled and thickened, turning into something far more monstrous, more grotesque. His form grew even larger, muscles bulging as he transformed into a beast fueled by pure fury.

Gordon slammed his weapon down into the ground with such force that the entire lair shook. The ground cracked, dust rising into the air. We were knocked off our feet by the shockwave, landing hard against the stone floor. We groaned in pain, but something else was pressing against us-something heavy, something suffocating.
