"Just go." I pleaded through the door.

"But, Eve I-"

"I said just go." I demanded with a more stern tone, although I was really just a shaking, crying, mess.

He sighed but obeyed. I heard the door slam and footsteps thud down the stairs. And with that, I never saw him again.

It didn't occur to me what I was doing at the time. Telling the only person I cared about to leave me, but I did. It was something unexpected, something totally absurd to me. "How could he just leave me like that?" I would think, then remember that I told him to. Although I wish he was still here, I don't think I'd even be able to look at him after what he did to me... to us.

*flashback*

It was an early Sunday morning. We had just spent the night at my family's lake house. Waking up next to him was the best feeling in the world. It made me feel secure, and at ease. Just the brush of his fingertips against my skin made my heart beat faster than normal, and I loved it.

That night was our first. Yes our first. It was something so special I can't even describe it, (although you probably wouldn't want to hear about it anyways). At first, I considered it the best night of my life, until his actions changed that the next morning.

We woke up, side by side, his arms wrapped gently around me. I could still faintly smell the burning wood from the fireplace the night before. I turned and gave him a tired smile as I received the same from him. He helped me up, and we both headed into the kitchen.

"Pancakes?" He asked me.

"Yes puh-lease!" I replied with a big smile. He knew me too well.

As he began to cook, I headed back into the bedroom to make the bed. That's when I noticed what he did.

I went to the table across the room to pick up my bracelets I had placed there the night before. There were also some fake flowers on that table that I hadn't noticed in the darkness of the previous night. What I also hadn't noticed, was the camera hidden inside those flowers.

I grabbed the camera and slowly walked back into the kitchen, tears filling up my eyes.

"Babe, what's wrong?" He asked concerned, coming towards me.

"Don't touch me." I shoved him away.

He chuckled, slightly confused. "What.. what did I do?"

"This." I pulled the camera out from behind my back. "How much money did you think you'd make off of this?" By now, the tears were streaming down my face and I had no urge to stop them.

His eyes opened wide. "Eve, no. It's not what you think I promise-"

"Bullshit!" I screamed, and smashed the camera to the ground. I ran out of the kitchen, and locked myself in the bathroom. I leaned against the back of the door and collapsed to the ground.
