I was running through the woods. My clothes were ripped, and I was bleeding. I couldn't stop though. The guards were still behind me. I could hear them yelling.

I ran until my vision went black and I felt myself hit the ground.

A couple hours later:

I opened my eyes to find myself in a room made of stone. I squinted as I looked at the window to my right. I pushed myself up off of the bed I was laying on.

"Hello." I heard a voice behind me. I whipped around to look at the person who spoke.

"Who are you?" I asked, placing my hand on the sword that was attached to my hip. "Where am I?" I asked.

"Hey hey it's okay. I found you passed out in the woods. You were bleeding so I brought you back to my village to get you help." She answered. I was suddenly aware of the searing pain in my stomach and shoulder.

"Oh. Thanks." I looked down. I still don't know if I can trust her.

"I'm Aphmau." She walked closer, stopping after I took a step back. I didn't say anything. "Are you hungry or thirsty?" She asked. I was extremely thirsty but I didn't trust her. I didn't say anything. "That's alright. I have work to do but feel free to explore. There's food and water in the chest." She said before turning around and walking up the stairs.

Once I was sure she was gone I sat back down on the bed. I looked around the room and found a door. The sign above it said Levin's room. I stood up back up, struggling a bit from the pain. I walked over to the chest and pulled out the cup of water and bread.

I quickly ate and drank before making my way up the stairs. Up there I found two cats and a fox. Interesting. I walked out of the front door of the house and down the hill into the village.

This village had a decent amount of people in it but nothing like O'khasis.

"Hello. Are you new to town?" A pale girl with green eyes walked up to me.

"Yes." I answered. My voice sounded hoarse.

"I'm Donna. Oh my. Look at your clothes." She said. I was suddenly aware of how terrible they looked. "Let me help you get some new ones."

"If you happen to have the materials for them I can make my own." I told her.

"Of course." She smiled. I followed her to a plaza.

"Who's this?" A blonde man asked.

"She's new to town." Donna said as she dug through a chest behind the stand the man was standing in. "Here you go." She said as she handed me a pile of cloth.

"Thank you." I said. I made my way back to Aphmau's house.

I went back into the basement and sat back down on the bed. I pulled the sewing kit out of my bag and started sorting through the materials.

I used my sword to cut the materials.

"You must be the girl Lady Aphmau was telling me about." A voice said. I looked to see a man standing there, head to toe in armor. "I'm the head guard here. Garroth." The name was familiar.

"Hm." I hummed before continuing working. He walked into the room that was Levin's.

"I'm glad you're still here." Aphmau said as she walked down the stairs. "What are you doing?"

"Donna gave me supplies for new clothes." I told her.

"That's good." She said.

"Yeah. Garroth is in there by the way."

"Oh. Okay thank you."

I continued working as the two of them talked in the room. I couldn't hear exactly what they were talking about. Something about a baby.

"Um so I'm going to have to go away for a few days but feel free to stay here." Aphmau said as she walked out of the room.

"Thank you Lady Aphmau." I smiled at her.

"You're welcome."

"I'm Anastasia."

"Nice to meet you." Aphmau said.

"I'll be back in a little while. Help yourself to anything." She said before walking out again.

"Lady Aphmau may trust you but I'm not too sure yet." Garroth said as he walked out of the room, holding a baby.

"And you are right to think so. But I hope I do gain your trust." I said before looking back down at what I was doing.

"We'll see." He said before walking back into the room.

A while later Garroth left with the baby and a blonde elf returned with the baby instead.

"Hi I'm Zoey." She introduced.

"Anatasia." I glanced up at her before continuing to sew.

A little while later Aphmau told me she was on her way out of town for a little. She was going to try and find the boys parents. I followed her outside to meet up with Garroth before she left. He had left her a chest of things she'll need.

"A wedding ring? Really?" I turned to Garroth once Aphmau was out of earshot.

"I have no idea what you mean." He said before turning and walked back towards the village. I laughed before walking back into the house. I was almost done with one of the outfits I was going to make.  I tied my blonde hair back with a ribbon that I keep in my bag.

I finished the first outfit by the time it was nightfall.

"Are you hungry?" Zoey asked.

"A little." I answered.

"Is stew okay?" She asked.

"Yeah. Thanks." I said, looking at her and smiling.

"Okay." I'm guessing she put Levin to bed.

"I'm going to get changed real quick." I told her.

"Don't worry. I won't look." She said, still facing the chests.

"You made that?" Zoey asked.

"Yeah." I nodded.

"That's very impressive."

"Thank you." I said. I sat back down on the bed and started working on the other one.

"Here you go." Zoey said a little while later as she handed me a bowl.
"Thank you." I took it from her. I pushed everything off of the bed and motioned for her to sit next to me. "This is delicious." I said as I finished chewing a bite.

"Thank you." She said quietly before taking a bite.

After we were done eating Zoey took my bowl. She then said goodnight and walked back into Levin's room.

I was quite tired myself so I pulled the covers of the bed over me and laid down. I quickly fell asleep.
