Gremlins Vs Critters

It was 1987, Gizmo and Stripe were looking at the movies section in the paper while having a snack at their favourite café. They were sharing a slice of strawberry cake together. They scanned the different films and saw that Gremlins 1 was the third highest grossing movie right now, they were overjoyed all their hard work was worth it.

"I can't believe people love our movie! This is amazing!" Gizmo cheered.

"Yeah! This is fantastic, teddy bear!" Stripe agreed. He hugged Gizmo happily, but suddenly something caught his eye. "What the hell!?" Stripe was shocked. Gizmo was confused.

"What's wrong?" Gizmo asked. The gremlin pointed at something and the mogwai's eyes followed. A movie named Critters was second highest. They gasped in horror; another monster movie beat them.

"Who the fuck are these Critters!?" Stripe growled angrily, crinkling the paper. He felt someone tap his back, he turned and saw. Yes, a critter.

"I see that you saw my movie in the paper. Oh wait, I haven't introduced myself yet. I'm Bruce." Bruce explained. Stripe immediately didn't like the guy. Gizmo looked at him confused.

"Well, I'm Gizmo and this is my boyfriend, Stripe." Gizmo said. Bruce looked at him.

"I already know who you are, I saw your film in 1984. I thought you were enemies." Bruce added.

"Too bad, we're in love. I'm actually obsessed with him and stalked him." Stripe fought back. Bruce was shocked at this.

"Isn't that illegal?" Bruce asked.

"What are you, the police?" Stripe groaned. Bruce was not a cop. "Anyway, how the hell did your movie did better than ours!?" Stripe asked.

"I don't know, it just did. Some movies are just more successful than others." Bruce answered. Stripe just scoffed at this.

"Well, your film is just a rip-off of ours!" Stripe insulted. Bruce was not happy to hear that.

"Hey... I'm trying to be nice here..." Bruce growled. Gizmo got worried that they might end up fighting.

"Guys please! Don't fight. Both movies are great in their own separate ways." Gizmo said. Stripe looked at him, he calmed down.

"Yeah Gizzy... You're right..." Stripe replied.

"Oh, that's rich, when someone tells you to calm down, you don't listen but when Gizmo does you do?" Bruce explained, Stripe glared at him with rage in his eyes. They then saw a white critter run up to them.

"Come on Bruce, don't bother them." The critter said.

"And who would you might be?" Stripe asked.

"I'm Bianca, nice to meet you both. I know you, Gizmo and Stripe from Gremlins." Bianca introduced. Gizmo thought she looked sweet; Stripe wasn't so sure. She did look different from the standard critter.

"Anyway... We must go, we have an interview to talk about Critters. See you two later." Bruce waved goodbye. He left with Bianca; Stripe stuck his tongue at him as he turned his back. Gizmo kicked him in the leg.

"Stripe, don't be childish." Gizmo added, Stripe sighed in response. Later, they were talking to their friends.

"So, this little fur ball, Bruce is from Critters and that movie did better than ours! Can you believe it!?" Stripe asked. They were shocked.

"No way!" Haskins responded.

"I don't see a big deal." Earl shrugged. Stripe looked at him with disbelief.

"Are you kidding me...? Do you think Critters is better than Gremlins?" Stripe clenched his fist. Earl backed away.

"No, I don't think that! I just think that it's nothing to fuss over." Earl explained. Stripe put a hand on his hip.
