Chapter two

Seoyeon POV

I was rushing to my nieces elementary school, I had to pick her up after work. The problem was I couldn't drive because my car had broken down this morning.
It was already a bad day.

I was looking down so that my face wouldn't be hit by the cold wind. But then I crashed into someone without looking.

"Ah! I'm so sorry! I-" I looked up to see him. The coffee guy, of course.

"Hey, it's you! What are you doing in a rush?" He asked. He covered himself with a hoodie and glasses.
The only reason I knew it was him was because of his silver hair.

"I have to pick up my niece from school but my car broke down.." I say out of breath.

"I could drive you." He says. I stare at him, is he being serious?.. I think to myself.

"Oh no, it's okay-" I stopped when he started speaking.

"Can I?" He held out his hand, meaning to hold my hand. I gave him my hand and he held it. His hands were warm.

"Your hands are freezing!" He exclaims.

"Oh stop! No they aren't!" I pulled my hand back and crossed my arms in front of my chest.

"Come on, I'll drive you. You're gonna get sick." He complains.

I hesitate, can I really trust him? "No it's fine," I walk away until I get tugged back.

"No, you're not walking in the cold." He dragged me by my arm all the way to his car.

He opened the door for me and I sighed as I got in. He drove to the school and I thanked him.

"Thanks Jaehyuk, I appreciate it." I say with a smile.

"I'll wait here for you to get her." He said as he put the car in park.

I stared at him, "what do you mean wait?" I ask.

"You can't walk her home, can you?" He asks with one eyebrow raised.

I sighed, "I'll be right back." He smiled as I left the car to go find her.

I held her hand as I walked with her to the car. I decided to sit with her in the backseat.

"Auntie Seoyeon, who is that?" She asked as I buckled her in.

"That's my friend Jaehyuk, he's driving us today alright?" I smiled at her, she smiled as well.

"What did you do today, Junny?" I asked, I nicknamed her Junny because her full name is Junia.

"I painted! I got to paint my favorite animal!" She exclaimed.

"That's awesome! What's your favorite animal?" I asked her.

"A tiger! They're so strong and loud!" She spoke. I laughed at how cute she was.

"Is Jaehyuk your boyfriend?" She suddenly asked which caught me off guard.

Jaehyuk started laughing, "no, no, we're just friends!" I say quickly.

"Oh okay!" She smiled brightly.

Once Jaehyuk got to my sister's house I thanked him for driving me. "Thanks Jaehyuk, you really didn't need to drive me."

"No, it's okay. I didn't want you to get sick." I blushed at his sentence.

"Thank you, I'll see you around then." I smiled.

"Oh one thing!" He exclaimed before I stepped out the car. "Could I have your number?" He asked.

"Yeah of course!" He handed me his phone and I typed it my number into his contacts.
