I lose the handle of my suitcase and with a big smile, I throw myself into my friends' arms. We all sway for about a minute and laugh.

-It feels like we haven't seen each other in a year, bitch! -Jaxon shouts.

-Don't let me go back there, please, -I jump up.

-I'm sorry, love, -Reich kisses my forehead -But grab your things and let's go get some coffee!

-Baby, it's after twelve. Her grandmother will kill us if we don't get her home right away, -Jaxon shakes his head.

I stretch my loupe and lift my suitcase off the ground.

-It's okay, friends, we'll see you tomorrow, -Reich says and we all move out of the airport.

There are a lot of cars in the parking lot. But I easily recognize Jaxon.  Jackson grabs my suitcase and, unlocking the car, puts it in the trunk. I get in the back of the car, and soon Reich and Jackson do the same, but they get in the front.

I almost fall asleep during the trip. The car is silent, and I text my mom that I’m fine. I find my missed calls from Briana and Olivia. I look up when the car stops.

We’re already at my grandmother’s house. We all get out of the car and I thank her as Jackson pulls my suitcase out of the trunk.

-I’ll see you in the morning, okay? -Reich smiles.

-I think so. Good night and thanks for the ride, -I kiss them both on the cheeks and grab my suitcase, and climb the porch steps. The door opens in front of me and I see my grandmother.

-Grandma! -I shout.

-Grace, honey!

We hug.

-Let’s go inside. Not dressed warmly at all. Do you want to get sick?

-No, Grandma, -I chuckle and drag my suitcase inside the house.

-I'll warm up some cake for you, okay? And she's so skinny. Just bones.

It wouldn't be Grandma. I follow her into the kitchen and sit down at the table.

-Well, tell me.

She takes my favorite apple pie out of the fridge.

-I'm so lazy, Grandma.

-I don't ask for little things, dear, -she smiles and puts the pie in the microwave to heat up.

-The house is big and beautiful, Mom's friend is nice and kind, the school is great and I've made friends.

-Maybe some boy has caught my eye, huh? -she puts on a teapot.

-No, not really, -I sniffle and wipe my eyes.

-Just don't fall into the bad boys' trap again.

-Don't worry about it. You know how ready I am for it.

Grandma hands me the pie and a fork.

-You know, Harold was here, -she says carefully and sighs.

I look up at her suddenly.

-He was looking for you.

-What? It's been so long and he's looking for me?

-The boy seems to have changed a lot. He cut his long curls, but didn't forgive him, Grace.

-I'm not even going to talk to him, Grandma.

-Eat, eat.

After a long talk with Grandma, I went to my room. It was so empty. Yes...we used to live with Grandma. Everything in the room was left the same as I left it a week ago. However, there wasn't a single speck of dust and the bedding had been changed.

Only now did I realize how childish my room was. Pink wallpaper with flowers, brown, antique furniture and band posters above the bed. Under my feet was a pink, large and soft carpet. The windows of my room face west, so I always liked watching the sunset.

I laugh at myself because it seems like I haven't been here in a long time. I open my suitcase and after unpacking my things, I find a nightgown and a vanity for toiletries. It's almost midnight, so I decide it's time to go to bed.

After completing the nightly process, I turn off the light in the room and lie down on my bed. In New York, it's much bigger than this one. And more comfortable. I look up at the ceiling and it's full of shining stars.

I miss this house and this city

-Morning, princess! We're awake and getting up.

I open my eyes and scream when Jackson is standing in front of me.

-Shouldn't you please yourself in front of a picture of Johnny Depp? -I whine.

-I have more interesting things to do for now, -he raises his eyebrows, and I throw a pillow at him.

He catches me and narrows his eyes.  The door to the room opens and Reichelle enters with a tray. And on the tray is my breakfast!

-What do you want, spoiling me like this?

-I take the tray from Reich and grab a pancake.

-Lots of noise and lights, -Jaxon raises his messy eyebrows.

-No parties, I pretend to be a wimp and we laugh.

-Good. Then introduce Niall Horan, -Reich.

I roll my eyes and laugh out loud.

-Bitch, he's mine, -Jaxon taps her on the shoulder.

-You said you had that Liam! -Reich exclaims.

Then realization hits me.

-You were going to go on my Facebook? -I gape.

-The porridge in your mouth doesn't look sexy, so close your lips, love, -Reich.

I close my mouth and swallow a bite.

-Yes, we're going to go, -Jaxon admits.

-I hope I didn't do anything wrong, -I'll reach out to give you my phone back.

They look at each other and Reich hands me my phone. I enter the phone lock code and go to Messenger.

-No!

I scream.

Grace Combs: You're so fucking hot.

Niall Horan: Grace ...?

Grace Combs: I want you so much, Niall Horan.

I gape and look at my friends. They blush and almost laugh. I squeal even louder.

Grace Combs: I dream of lying next to you

Eliot Sherwood: Me too ;)

And a new message pops up on the screen.

Niall Horan: Where are you? I'm standing on your balcony.

I cover my face and my friends start laughing out loud. It's not going to be easy. It's not going to be easy.

OH MY GOD.

SORRY AAAAAAAAAAAAA xx
