Bucky's POV:
Bucky was at the farmer's market, topping up on food for himself and Alpine.
While shopping around for some bits and bobs, he notices the newspaper. On it, he sees Wanda. He heads over to the stand and asks for one. He reads through the paper, frowning as he does. The paper reads that the Avengers were in Sokovia to try to catch Rumlow, aka Crossbones. Wanda was trying to stop him from blowing up random people, but ended up hurting more people in the process. "Oh, Wanda."
He gets the rest of his shopping and heads back to his apartment. Once he's back he gets his phone out and dials Steve's number.
"Hey, Buck," Steve says a mix of happiness and sadness in his voice.
"I read the news about Wanda."
"It was an accident." Steve defends.
"Hey, I didn't say anything bad! I know Wanda would never do anything like that on purpose." Bucky argues back. "So what's happening next?"
"General Ross wants us to sign these accords which basically prevent us from saving the world unless they say so." Steve rants.
"How's the team feeling about it?" Bucky asks.
"Everyone's divided, some want to sign it and others agree with me and don't think it's a good idea. Tony is one of the ones who wants to sign it." Steve explains. "But going against this means going against basically all of the world."
"So what happens if you don't sign these accords?" Bucky queries.
"Nothing if I obey them, but if I go off saving the world without their direct permission they can take away my shield, lock me up," Steve says.
"That's insane!" Bucky protests. "You risk your life to save people and they thank you by saying that you cause more harm than good!"
"I know Buck." Steve pauses and sighs. "But there's nothing I can do, almost everyone is going against me."
Bucky runs his hand over his face. "Is there anything I can do to help?"
"Not really but thanks for the offer, it's best that you stay as far away from this as possible. You need a break buddy." Steve reassures. "I'm going to have to go I'm getting another call. But stay in touch buddy." ~~~~~ Aurora's POV:
Aurora was standing at the large mahogany doors to the throne room. She was in her wedding dress, Loki by her side. "I hope Thor is back soon with this help."
"Me too." Loki agrees. "You're not mad at Thor for keeping this from you? Knowing that it could have helped you from the beginning?"
"Yes maybe I'm not thrilled about it, but I understand why he did it, he would have ended up in the same predicament as me. Well, not the same, maybe worse." Aurora frowns.
