Once upon a time, in a faraway kingdom, there lived a princess who loved to sit inside her golden cup. She was Princess Casheara of the Kingdom of Nut. She was a very pampered girl who did not need to make any effort just to get whatever she wanted. When she reached the age of seven, for some reason, her attention was taken by the golden cup that her father, King Brien, had given her as a gift on her 7th birthday. It became her favorite spot, and she remained just seated there every day and night. It had become an everyday sight in the palace that the people became used to seeing her inside her golden cup, with servants just waiting for her command whenever she needed their assistance. Although Butler Simon was different, as he had to ensure that the royal family was well taken care of.
“Princess Casheara, is there anything else you need aside from your talking doll?” The butler asked one morning.
“Um, yeah… I think so. I guess I also need my favorite dollhouse and other doll collections. Can you please bring those to me, Butler Simon?” Princess Casheara answered, who was smiling at no one, just being busy playing with her talking doll while seated in her golden cup.
“Of course, Princess Casheara.”
“Thanks,” the princess murmured nonchalantly, never minding her surroundings.
Meanwhile, the butler's eyes averted from the busy princess to her right side, just a few feet away from where she was right now.
“Princess Casheara, may I ask if the ones you are referring to are those that were given as a gift by your uncle, Prince Dylan, on your recent birthday?” The butler asked to confirm while his eyes shifted back from where the toys were to where the princess was.
“Yes, yes! That's the one.”
“I see. No worries, I'll just bring it nearer to you.”
“Great, great! You see, I don't feel like getting off my golden cup, that's why I am asking you to hand it over to me.”
“Sure, my beautiful princess. Nothing to worry about. I will do as you said.” And so the butler headed towards the princess’s toys that were scattered on the carpeted floor and moved them to the table that was located right beside Princess Casheara's golden cup.
“There you have it, princess. Is there anything else that you want me to help you with?” Simon informed the princess, but she did not bother anymore to respond or look back at him. She just continued playing with her talking doll. And that served as a cue for Butler Simon to take his leave. As for the princess, in her mind, she knew that the actual reason why she didn't want to get off her golden cup, aside from the fact that she was just being a spoiled brat princess, was that she believes someone else would take her favorite seat the moment she moves away from it. So, without anyone knowing it, whenever no one was around, she would get off it to go to the bathroom. As for eating, she would always do it while she was in her golden cup. Servants were serving her food there just as she requested. It feels so magically comfortable to be inside it. Her back doesn't hurt at all and she can even sleep there safe and sound. She seemed to have found a world of her own since she got the golden cup. The people in the palace noticed her long stay in the golden cup, nonetheless they just kept their silence. The king and queen noticed it as well but they just take it for granted, content seeing how happy their daughter is while she's in her favorite spot.
