Robin's POV

"Ate, huling punta namin ni Robin sa Arsamanedon nawala kapangyarihan ko," Magnus scratched the back of his head.

The Empress threw him a dagger look because of his joke. "It's not funny, Magnus."

"Totoo naman kasi."

We were outside the palace, walking the streets of our city, there were no guards with us, only the Empress, Magnus and I.

Our sister ordered us to go to Arsamanedon to send gifts to King Romer. I wouldn't complain, their city has the most enchanting waters I have ever seen.

Maybe I should thank that fraud of a queen in the underworld because it was because of her that the rivers and ocean in their city looked like that now.

She's still a bitch tho, I won't forget about what she did.

"Kambal, gusto mo pumunta doon?" Magnus asked when he noticed that I didn't complain.

I only nodded at him.

"Robin loves Arsamanedon," the empress answered for me. "Natatandaan ko na kinuha ka nga pala ni Beatrix noon, saan ka niya dinala?"

Oh, that night on the ball when Beatrix pulled me somewhere else. She actually brought me to their palace's tower and asked me about my own power.

I thought she was gonna say things about the power we both share but she just asked me what I can do with my power.

She kept asking about it, how could I not notice the face she makes when I told her about what I could do?

"Ayoko ng pumunta sa siyudad na yun, baka ano na namang mangyari sa kapangyarihan ko," my twin said.

I looked at him and memories of that night flooded my head.

Magnus took the attack meant to launch at me. It was horror, I saw how three men held him and one absorbing his power.

It was the most devastating thing I witnessed in my life. It didn't even help that he was smiling while it happened.

"Ayos ka lang?" I felt Magnus's hand on my shoulder.

I nodded. "Don't let Magnus come with me, I'll go there alone," baling ko sa kapatid namin.

I don't want Magnus to go there again, he's fine now but I don't want him to go there.

"Talaga?" tumingin ang Empress sakin. "I can ask Tobias to go with you."

"Don't bother."

"Maximillian could go there with you too," she insisted.

"I don't need anyone to come with me. Maximillian is a king, he should focus on his own city," I said and then walked away.

It is snowing in Auroravale. Winter is the most special season of our city, our people celebrate all day.

There are a lot of decorations in the streets and some were figures of my sister which she hated but she doesn't have the heart to say it.

Pakiramdam niya daw ay parang sinasamba siya ng mga nilalang na naninirahan sa aming siyudad. That is what she doesn't like.

She said that she is not someone special, she serves the town and the people, she doesn't need to be worshipped.

I was wearing a gloves, sobrang lamig ng buong paligid. Ang empress lang ang hindi tinatablan ng lamig nito.

"Magandang gabi, kamahalan," a woman smiled at me.

She was holding a baby and she looked so happy. Tumango lang ako sa kanya pagkatapos ay tumingin ako sa kanyang anak.
