"You?" a laugh erupts from Hester. "You're so small." The room shakes and more steam bursts from the ground, one of them burning part of Hesters arm. She grabs her arm and dodges the steam, the black wings sprouting out of her back causing her to stumble a bit.
"You shan't disrespect me like that again, Hester," the boy says, taking a seat. "catch," he throws a blue ball at her, and she throws her hands in front of her face to block the ball.
The ball bursts and lets out a high-pitched screaming, slowly becoming deeper, a strange face appearing in the rubber. Hester lets out a cry and crashed onto the floor. She looked over to Satan who looked unamused.
"So, you really are Satan?" The boy puts a hand on his head and lets out a pained groan. "no," he says harshly, "my name is Lucifer." Hester puts her hands up in defense.
Lucifer stands up and walks down a stair to be on the same level as Hester. He flicks his pointer finger down and Hester is forced to her knees, unable to move. Theres a burning sensation coming from her ankles and the back of her knees. Lucifer stands before her, he puts his fingers on Hesters chin and moves her head side to side, examining her.
"Why are you here?" He asks Hester, walking around her to get a full look. He picks up part of her dress and the white fabric fades to black. "That's better," he mumbles.
"I lost something," Hester says, moving her eyes every which way except up and at lucifer. Lucifer stands before Hester with his arms crossed, asking for more of an explanation that she wasn't giving. "You're in hell darling," Lucifer said. She knew what he meant, he didn't care what she'd lost, after all, you must sin to be here in the first place. But for an angel to be sent to hell is rare, angels are not able to sin as easily as humans or demons can, he wanted to know what was so bad that got her banished to hell.
"It was this crown thing," Lucifers eyes lit up immediately. "They gave it to me when I got put on the prayer committee." Lucifer stared at her for a moment. "why is everything so jolly with you angels?" He rolled his eyes and called someone into the room.
A man walks in, he wears a black suit and has black hair that's brushed to one side, covering an eye. He wasn't what Hester was expecting to see at all. Hester expected a red creature with horns and burnt flesh that matched the red colors that were laced around the realm.
"Expecting something different?" Lucifer asked, reading Hester like a book. Hester reaches her band back and feels the black feathers and brushes her hand through them, wincing at the pain that shot through her body.
"Those might hurt for a while," Hester looks over at the man and puts her hand down. "That's Malcom," Lucifer looks at the man, "You may go now." Malchom nods and glances at Hester before walking off.
"Where's my sister?" Hester asks. Lucifer picks something from his teeth before responding, "What?" Lucifer stood up and walk past Hester. "Well, are you coming?" Hester followed behind him, the ground becoming harder as they walked.
A large door, which appeared to be made of human flesh that was sewn together, opened before the two. Lucifer kept his lead, strolling along down a darkened stone bridge, with magma burning on either side. Hester fanned herself with her hands to try and cool herself to no avail.
"Do be careful, dear," He says, allowing Hester to walk next to him, "Wouldn't want you to fall in, now would we?" Hester looks down at lucifer who fixes his crooked crown.
"Where are you taking me?" The two make it to a drop off, cracked stone leading to more magma. The red-hot scolding liquid flows through the cracks, causing pieces to break off.
Lucifer steps onto a large piece and holds his hand out, Hester hesitates. "Hurry up," Hester takes his hand and steps onto the stone, tipping it slightly, her foot almost going into the lava. The stone breaks off and they begin to flow down the magma river.
Up ahead there is obsidian with stone pieces clashed against it. The piece that the two are on hits it and the two jump off, landing on the obsidian. Hester shivers, her breath turning white. Lucifer walks ahead, treading down a path.
Hester follows, rubbing her hands together to try and get any heat from the friction. "A bit chilly 'eh?" Lucifer smirks and continues walking. Wailing and screams erupt from down the path. The sounds startle Hester, and she freezes. Lucifer grabs her hand and drags her forcefully down the path which becomes narrow.
Arms reach from the walls, trying to grab Hester. She moves frantically away, spinning so her back is against Lucifer. More pained moans erupt sending chills down Hesters spine as sounds of whips cracking echo through the atmosphere.
Lucifer stops abruptly in front of a section in the wall. He knocks a rhythm into it, and it cracks in the middle, sliding open. He walks in and Hester follows him.
It's a plain room with nothing but a pillow. "What's this?" Hester asks. "I hear you're fascinated with humans, yes?" Lucifer pauses, "Perhaps even wanted to be one?" Hester nods and Lucifer smiles.
"I have a proposition for you," Hester shakes her head. "Whatever it is I don't want to be a part of, I'm not interested in making a deal with the devil," She speaks thoroughly. Lucifer nods and says goodnight before walking out of the room, shutting it behind him, trapping Hester.
Hester bangs against the wall and yells at Lucifer to let her out. Based on the cries she had heard earlier; she knew he could hear her if he was still there. "Don't you ignore me!" She screamed, pounding on the wall a final time as she turned around, placing her back against the cold stone. Her body slowly slid down the wall. She sat, pulling her legs to her chest as tears slipped from her eyes.
Hester had fallen asleep quickly, resting her head on her knees, crying herself to bed. Lucifer, however, hadn't gotten any sleep, not that he needed it.
While Hester had screamed and pounded on the wall, he stood beside in amusement at the angel's persistence, snickering to himself. A man beside him cleared his throat loudly, to grab Lucifers attention.
"Sir, the plan," The man hands Lucifer a yellow file, the words written on the side, 'The inevitable destruction.'
