My Clematis
Blank. In the back of the young women mind's comes a flashback. Kohane was standing barefoot on the grass' of the garden, winds messing up her hair. Closed eyes, not thinking about anyone, singing like nothing was going on. But then... she hears another voice, the loudly energetic but at the same time sweet voice of her best friend. An Shiraishi. They looked at each other smiling.
Again... blank.
Back to reality, the two women are on stage, singing together like they've always dreamed. They didn't need anyone, they just needed each other. Nothing matters. Kohane admired An singing voice. It looked like it was yesterday when they were just little girls practicing their vocals, learning how to sing properly. And now they're already on stage.
When they were kids they used to watch the sky, dreaming of getting out together and never break their loyalty to each other.
An looked in Kohane's eyes with admiration, sparkling with joy but most of all... the famous look of love, their voice made an enjoyable harmony. Drops of sweat drooling down their forehead, lights flashing through their eyes, smiles never seen before. Oh... little did they know all of this flowers and rainbows would've ended soon. Before everything ended, An softly asked Kohane: -Do you believe in God?- the blond looked slightly confused at the question and just shrugged naively. The blue haired girl continued, -Once upon a time, mankind believed in God and had a religion. They believed that things that cannot be solved by human strength are the will of God. Believe that the entire universe revolved around the Earth. Thought that the place that connected to the sky, which they could not dare to reach was the place were gods lived. From the moment humanity left the universe, we all forgot God.-
"But... if belief in god is human. If all i can do as a human is to believe..."
-My God. My Universe.- An said as she gently placed her hand on Kohane's cheek. They started giggling and smiling together. A big score on the board appeared. 87/86, An's eyes widened and her smile became cold as she shot her only true love getting shot. Dying in front of her eyes. Blood all over her face she fell on her knees with terror.
-My Clematis...- were An's last words to Kohane's dead body as she got taken away from her.
