Chapter 33: You May Now Kiss The Bride

Date: October 6th 2022
At the Davila Grounds

"Shit I forgot how tight this dress was, it's beautiful but damn I can't wait to get it off for the after party", Jenna said as Lauren tightened her dress.

"Beauty is pain sis, you're making us all wear yellow I don't wanna hear any complaints from you", Lauren said.

"No Conri is making y'all wear that color, he was in charge of picking the main color for the reception", Jenna responded.

"Yeah well we all know that man has no fashion sense whatsoever, so from now on you pick the colors", Lauren said with a laugh.

Jenna returned the laugh, "Yeah yeah you're right".

Jenna was all tucked and zipped into her dress, her hair and makeup was finished. And she was about to see what she looked like for the first time.

Jenna stepped in front of the full body mirror and just stared at herself, "Wow...I...I look like a princess, Lauren you're amazing"!

Lauren smiled coming behind her sister and hugging her, "You absolutely do look like a princess, thank you for letting me get you ready for a day as special as this one".

Jenna turned around and hugged her sister, "No thank you, for everything".

Lauren returned the hug with a smile, "You're welcome"....

Meanwhile with Conri and the boys

"What if she hates that I went with a classic suit and just have a yellow tie and didn't do the opposite", Conri said as he paced back and forth in the den.

"I don't think she'll care-", Lycus was cut off.

"And what if she hates that I left my hair in a ponytail, it's in a ponytail every goddamn day should I put it down; no then I'll look like a caveman", Conri said talking very quickly clearly overwhelmed by nerves.

"CONRI RICK DAVILA", Lycus shouted grasping his older brothers shoulders and looking him in the eye, "Calm your ass down okay, there's nothing to be stressed about, you look fine and Jenna is gonna love it".

Conri took a few deep breaths but then his stress got the best of him again, "Oh god what if she says no, or hates my vows"?!

"Conri, you two have been dating since junior year of high school, if she was gonna dump you she would have by now trust me; try to calm down", Lycus said.

Conri nodded, "Yeah, yeah you're right, I'm just overthinking all this".

"When she walks down that aisle you give her your manliest smile and show her why she chose you", Lycus said....

It was time. Time for the wedding to begin. Conri took his place at the front along side the bridesmaid's and his best men. Some funky music began to play as two men with sunglasses and two baskets of flowers stood at the end of the isle. It was Channing and Turner. They made their way down the aisle dancing stupidly while throwing flowers. Everyone laughed as they did this, they soon made their way to the front.

Then bridal music began to play and everyone stood up. Jenna came walking out holding her bouquet with her beautiful dress. Conri began to tear up a bit as she got closer. Once she reached the front the couple faced each other and everyone sat down.

The wedding officiator began to speak, "We are gathered here today to celebrate the marriage of Jenna Decker and Conri Davila. Please listen as the two share their vows".
