DAYS WENT BY, REESE CONTINUED WORKING DAY SHIFT.

Nothing new, she thought.

Reese hummed to herself, as she turned around.

She was greeted by Jimmy standing, near the counter.

Reese smiled, as she greeted him.

"So, how come you're not at work" she teased, already knowing why.

"Y'know how coach is, I'm busy at practice" he responded.

Reese just nodded, before lightly laughing.

"Reese I wanted to ask you something" he spoke.

She patiently waited, for him to continue.

He awkwardly scratched the back of his neck, nervous of her reaction.

"I was hoping to go out with you sometime" he said.

Reese raised a brow.

"We always go out" she grinned.

"I wanna take you out, like on a proper date y'know. Dinner whatever you want" he responded.

Reese bit the inside of her cheek, before shyly looking down.

"You really asking me out?" She looked up at him.

"Of course" Jimmy said.

"I'd love to, also I don't mind wherever" she laughed.

Jimmy couldn't help but feel more attracted to her.

The pair smiled at each other.

The bus ride to Albuquerque was long.

Reese sat down near the window, texting on her phone.

Jimmy sat next to her, as she smiled at him.

He offered her food, he'd bought for the ride.

"Did you poison it?" Reese asked jokingly.

"Why else do you think, I'm offering you some?" He joked also.

Reese chuckled, before taking a bite.

"You're something Rezzy" he spoke, admiring her features.

"Shut up" she nudged him playfully.

Heather who was seated up front, glanced at the pair.

Meanwhile the rest of the team all mocked and teased the pair.

Again nothing new, Reese thought.

Most of the ride there was decent.

Reese shifted uncomfortably, she hated sitting for too long.

She huffed as glanced at Jimmy.

When she looked at him, he was already looking at her.

The girl tried to her smile.

"Jeez Reese, you got a staring problem?" He mocked.

"Says the person who was staring first" she laughed.

Jimmy smiled.

"You're pretty" is all he said afterwards.

"I hear that all the time" she replied playfully.

"It shows, they're not lying" he replied.

He rested his hand on her thigh, as she placed hers on top of his.

Reese leaned her head against the seat, smiling once again.

They soon arrived.

Reese was just happy to stretch.

Everyone was off the bus, yet Jimmy got stopped by Heather.

"Next time don't be so touchy, At least when I'm not around" Heather spoke.

Jimmy nodded.

She soon smiled, before heading off and led the team.

Reese caught up with Jimmy.

"What'd Heather say" she smiled.

"Just reminded me to keep my head in the game" he responded.

"Well good luck to you Holiday" she said.

The pair walked together, keeping each other company before the game.
