Lou’s Assistant- Chapter 1

 Sams POV:

“And we were wondering if you would like to go live with Auntie Lou for a little bit?” My mother asked. I just got home from my job at starbucks. See if I want something, I have to buy it. No matter what it is. “Shipping me off? Can’t take it anymore? All you have to do is tell me...” I said with a smirk on my face. I knew I was right, and I also know that they would never admit it. “Of course not!” My dad exclaimed quickly... yeah right. “Ok… where is she living now?” I asked. I knew that they wouldn’t let me out of this one. “Umm... Well you see... You know that she’s always had a soft spot for makeup and fashion? Well she’s a stylist for that band one direction on their tour.” My mother responded to my question. Mumbling that last part quietly and quickly, knowing that I don’t like them. “Great, so I have to spend God knows how long, God knows where with a group of people who I don’t like? Mom, Dad, you’re the best!” I yelled, sarcasm dripping from every word from that last sentence. At that, I ran upstairs so I didn’t have to be with my parents anymore. “You leave tomorrow morning at 9!” My mother yelled from the spot on the couch that she was sitting. Wow, she didn’t even move from her spot. I fell down on my queen sized bed, turning my head to the side to look at the clock on my bed side table. 4:00pm... I have exactly 17 hours till I have to get on the plane. I pulled my black hair into a messy bun on top of my head… guess it’s time to start packing.

“Goodbye sweetheart, we’ll miss you!!” My mother said, trying to sound like her statement was true. We were in the airport; I was going to Memphis in Tennessee, because apparently this tour is in America. I was wearing a purple ombre sweater from pink, black leggings, and some black vans. My hair was up in a messy bun. (A/N Photo to the side ) My flight is 9 hours long. Oh well, I guess it could be worse. “Save it.. I know this was your whole idea to ship me off to wherever, I know you called Auntie Lou and begged her to take me. I get it, its ok.” I said. Well I didn’t actually KNOW if that was true or not, but honestly I wouldn’t be surprised, that really does sound like something my parents would do. “Flight 724 from London, England to Memphis, Tennessee last call” I heard a rushed voice say over the system. “That’s me, bye mother, father” I said in a bored voice and walked towards the plane. You see, ever since my parents stopped caring for me when I was about 13, I really only called them mother and father, nothing else. They never cared, I haven’t heard them say ‘I love you’ in the longest time, not like it bothers me. I looked down at my plane ticket, my seat was in row 7 seat A, I better be getting a window seat or I will be very angry. I finally got to my seat. Good, the last seat is a window seat. “Excuse me…” I mumble, trying to get past the two old ladies sitting in seat 7b and 7c. When I got to my seat, I pulled out my iphone and put my headphones in, putting if I’m James dean, you’re Audrey Hepburn by sleeping with sirens the acoustic version on repeat. I love that song! Eventually, I fell asleep.

I woke up to someone tapping me on the shoulder. “Miss, your plane has landed.” Someone said in a sweet voice with an American accent. One thing you should know about me, don’t wake me up. Ever. “Mmm that’s cool” I replied, and then I curled up into a ball and snuggled into the plane window. “Um miss, if you don’t get up right now, we will have to kick you out of the airport” The same voice explained a hint of irritation hidden in her voice. I put my headphones and phone away, stood up and stretched out, making inhuman noises. I walked past the lady I now know that was the flight attendant, and went to baggage claim.

After I got my camouflage-coloured suitcase from baggage claim, and now I was sitting where my Aunt told me that she would meet me. I’m not tired at all, throughout the whole 12 hour flight, I was sleeping. It’s 9:15pm... Auntie Lou is 15 min late. Typical. “SAAAAAM!!” I heard a voice that I’ve grown to love a couple feet away. I got up, turned around and squealed “AUNTIE LOU!!!” I dropped all my bags and ran to her. My relationship with my aunt is like that. We act like best friends, And seem like sisters. “I missed you so much! Where’s Lux?” I said. Genuinely curious to Lux’s whereabouts. “We’ll talk on the way to the venue” My aunt said. Walking to my bags. We picked them up, and walked to the car.

We got to the venue, and Auntie Lou was fixing up the boys. Lux started to cry, so she asked me to bring her for a walk. She was getting better. Suddenly, I heard a deep, British accent ask me a question…

“Who are you?” The mysterious voice asked.
