"The nobles haven't counter-attacked. We're free now," Hange informed the Levi squad as everyone jumped in happiness.
Adrasteia smiled as she watched them. It's been a while since she had seen them this happy again.
The past few days were nothing but bloodshed and escaping from the enemies. Now, they are once again free.
"And one more thing, I just might know where Eren and Historia are. I'm not absolutely certain but I think our only choice is to take our chances with this. We'll end this battle there."

After Erwin's plan succeeded, the old regime was proclaimed to be at an end. The proclamation was made moments after the military had seized control of the capital upon the gallows that had been raised to execute him.
Meanwhile, the Levi squad, along with Hange, headed to the Reiss Chapel in hopes of finding Eren and Historia there.
"Here it is the secret door. Eren and our enemies must be on the other side. I just hope the layout's close to what I predicted," Hange said as the squad stationed themselves.
"I hope the detour for those little presents pays off," Levi commented.
"Preparations complete," Armin notified.
"I see. All right, everyone, ready to get your hands dirty?" Levi said as he turned to his squad, his sharp gaze assessing their readiness. "Looks like you are."
Meanwhile on the other side of the door.
"There are at least eight of them. And of course, one of them is Levi. First, we lure them inside. I would prefer to surround them, and then shower them with concentrated fire. But as you know, our enemies are highly skilled at vertical maneuvering. The battle is likely to become a melee. So long as the enemy doesn't know our positions or numbers, they won't be able to do anything extreme."
Their squad leader announced.
As she gave her final words, the door burst open and gas canisters started to roll down the stairs.
And that is where the plan began.
The confined space erupted into chaos as gas canisters spewed thick smoke, turning the room into a battlefield shrouded in gray. The Interior Military Police, caught off guard, scrambled to react.
Shadows moved within the haze—fast, precise, and relentless. It was Levi Squad, exploiting the confusion to strike at their enemies' weakest points.
Adrasteia emerged first, her maneuvering gear hissing as she launched from the smoke like a predator.
She struck without hesitation, her twin blades slicing cleanly through the cables of an enemy soldier's gear, sending them crashing to the ground. Without a pause, she darted upward, disappearing into the rafters before her next victim could track her.
The squad's cohesion was terrifying. Levi moved like a ghost, his blades cutting down anyone who dared cross his path. Jean and Connie followed closely, eliminating stragglers while covering the team's flanks. Their advantage in mobility turned the narrow space into a killing field, and the Interior MPs were unable to mount an effective defense.
Adrasteia's instincts kicked in as she spotted a group of enemies huddling near the stairwell. With a smirk, she fired her grappling hooks, launching herself forward in a deadly arc. Her blades flashed, and before they could react, three soldiers crumpled under her precise strikes.
