Third Person POV

Hogwarts.

...

...

Snape looked at him for a moment before removing him, moving him in the air with his wand. While searching for his wand, it wasn't among his clothes, in the closet, or anywhere in the common room.

"They even took the wand..." Snape murmured as he noticed a wand being held among the group, but since he didn't recognize Geronimo's wand, he assumed it belonged to them.

Snape saw that the boy didn't even react to his levitation, and surely this would cause problems for the students once it became public in the school.

A couple of Slytherin students appeared at that moment in the corridor, and when they came upon the scene of Snape levitating Geronimo, who had been tortured, they thought:

"He tortured him!! Run!" one of them shouted. They were second-year students, boys of 12-13 years, who exclaimed as they ran away.

Snape simply didn't care much about them, while he was thinking about the students he had seen. All of them were seventh-year students, and all of them also played on the Slytherin team.

But there was nothing more to be done there, as Snape decided to leave the place, disappearing with his teleportation. Penelope was startled when Snape appeared while she was carrying a tray of medicine.

"Hm?! Snape!!" she exclaimed, dropping all the medicines on the floor in shock, while looking dazed at him.

"..." Snape didn't say anything as he moved his wand, and all the scattered medicines began to return to the tray. He cast a repair spell, placing the tray back into the nurse's hands once more.

"You should take a look at this," Snape said, pointing to the tortured boy in a trance-like state.

"What?!" She quickly noticed him for the first time, turning her gaze to the boy, placing the tray on the nearest empty bed, and went over to Geronimo, pointing at Snape.

"Put him on the bed, let me see him!" she requested, and Snape guided the boy's body as it settled on the bed.

"My god... that was a Cruciatus! How could someone cast that on the boy?!" she exclaimed, seeking an answer with a glance at Snape, who shook his head.

"I'm not sure, but they were probably seventh-year students," Snape said, concealing his suspicions, as it wouldn't help to reveal the real culprits.

"This is a horrible thing; they could be sent to Azkaban..." she murmured.

"Yes, but I would prefer not to be a witness... after all, it seems they're from the great families. I'd like to keep my distance. However... I know the culprits might have his wand," Snape said before pulling out his wand and handing it to Penelope.

"What is this?" she asked, confused.

"This is for you to check the last spells I used... to make sure it wasn't me who cast the curse. Either way... I would prefer to remain anonymous... Miss Penelope," Snape requested calmly, and she nodded, taking his wand.

After confirming that he hadn't used it, as she could have her mind read, ensuring no one could suspect him other than finding the boy in such a state in the Slytherin common room.

"Alright... I'll keep this between us," she said, looking at him seriously.

Snape knew there was no point in openly testifying against those students... so he preferred not to involve himself in something futile. Even though he wasn't afraid of the great families, he knew that these people would go unpunished... So, he would have to resolve this in another way.
