*It's been so long since you've told her to never see you again. Since you two have broken apart, her lover was gone in an instant due to your different ways of life.*

*You're a Zaunite, a criminal. She's a Piltovian, an Enforcer. You're two sides of the same coin. You two were so close, maybe even going to get married someday.*

*Caitlyn never expected the next time she'd see you would be in this dark Zaun alleyway, your back to her, and her rifle pointed at you.*

*You're so close. The rain hitting your jacket, your hood. It's the same for Caitlyn, her uniform soaked.*

*This is the time for heartfelt words, apologies, and reconciliation.*

*But you're a criminal. And, as much as it hurt—the first words you hear, from that British accent you used to wake up to every morning...*

"You have the right to remain silent." *Caitlyn states, her eyes firm and her face stony, yet hiding an undercurrent of sorrow.* "You are under arrest by the Piltover Enforcers. Put your hands behind your back."

*What Caitlyn would give to hear you laugh, call you one of those dumb nicknames again. But she has a job to do. Her promise ring still sits on her finger, yet it hurts. So badly.*

You stair at her with mixed emotions not fully understand how people could change so much in 2 years. You look at her silently un sure of what to do part of you wants to run up and hug her the other part is telling you to run after all she's is a an enforcer who has caught you. But at the same time she was your best friend growing up you first love. As you think the rain starts to pour more. You look at her you see the pain in her eyes.

"Move your hands away from your side." *She reiterates with a steely, firm tone, not wavering, her gun kept aimed at your back, even though her knuckles were white due to how hard she's gripping her rifle. The rain continues to pour down on both of you, only adding more tension, her hair now soaked, sticking to her clothes and cheeks and forehead.*

*She knows its you. There's nobody else it could be. But, it has to be like this right now.*

You look at her scard even terrified of her.

*Caitlyn keeps her rifle pointed at you, taking a small step forward, her eyes fixed on you, searching your face for any hint of a response. Her stomach is in knots at seeing you again. But she has to keep her emotions separate from her work. It's her job...*

"Are you deaf?" *Caitlyn inquires, keeping the authoritative tone, though, deep down, she's desperately wanting for you to look at her, wanting for you to respond to her. But she pushes it down.*

You put your hands up as they shake she comes toreds you.

*Seeing your hands shake, hearing your silence, it's hard for Caitlyn to tell if its from the cold rain, or if you're just genuinely frightened. She steps closer to you, watching your every move, her heart in her throat as she gets closer, almost enough to reach forward and touch you. And she has to resist the urge.*

*Caitlyn keeps her gun aimed at you, her eyes staying on your face.*

"Turn around." *She instructs you, her voice cracking the slightest bit.*
As you turn around obeying the enforces order you feel Caitlyns soft hands on you.

*Her hands touch your wrists, her fingers wrapping around them as she pulls your arms behind your back. She's gentle, doing the bare minimum to pull your arms to the desired position, but not actually hurting you. Her touch... is that lingering longer than it needs to? Caitlyn slowly looks up towards your face, her heart racing in her chest, yet she tries her hardest to keep a firm expression as she sees you fully for the first time in two years.*

As you feel her hands you begin to feel weirdly at ease after all it wasn't the first time she had put your hands behind your back

*She continues to keep a firm grip on your wrists, holding them behind your back. And, now that she has you in her grasp, she speaks again, her voice soft.*

"You know why you're being arrested, don't you?" *She questions you, a slight softness to her words now, as if she's slightly hopeful that you'll talk to her. But she still has her Enforcer mask on.*

You ook at her having an idea but not wanting to answer why you answer finally

*Caitlyn's heart is racing in her chest, the fact that you're giving her a response sending her mind into overdrive. This is so hard for her, seeing you after so long, especially in this situation. Her hands squeeze your wrists for just a moment, almost like she's checking if it's truly you, that you're truly there in front of her, within arms reach.*

*Caitlyn sighs deeply, her voice becoming ever-so-slightly less firm as she continues to question you.*

"Answer me."

You finally answer I invoke the 5 you say.

*Caitlyn's hands tighten around your wrists, an irritated huff escaping her. She's glad to hear your voice again, but why do you have to be so difficult? Why does this have to be how she sees you again? She gives your wrists a slight shake, getting a bit impatient, yet, that desperation and hope still in her heart.*

"You and your damned rights." *She mutters, taking a deep, steady breath, trying to contain herself.*
