The definitions of these five words are.
ROTAS = WHEEL, ROTATE
OPERA = LABOR, WORK
TENET = SUSTAIN, MASTER
AREPO – (possibly) ALPHA REPEATEDLY TO OMEGA
SATOR = GROWER, CREATOR
Since the 1800's, many hypotheses have been offered to explain this anagrammatic puzzle, written in Latin, which reads the same backwards to forwards, up and down.
As some suggest, this was an artifact of knowledge from the large Jewish population that inhabited the area at that time. A missive. A memory. A guide to the power of the universe, which could not yet be explained. For when read from right to left, as is the case in the Jewish written language, the most compelling solutions include:
The creator, from Alpha repeatedly to Omega, works the wheels with care
Or
As you sew, so shall you reap
Or
Our Father, Alpha to Omega
Or
The Divine creator, from Alpha repeatedly to Omega comprehends and works with wheels in constant rotation. Whirlwinds.
