Part 11

(In Indonesia, Dante was still trying to track Dom's family. All he knew was that Letty, Mia, and Brian were out there somewhere. Aimes walks in and tosses the tablet on the table with a smirk on his face.)

Aimes: It's confirmed, that Dominic Toretto is history. News just came in this morning and it looks like it will be a closed casket.

Dante: Did they find his little mini-me yet?

Aimes: (chuckle) No, hell he probably got eaten.

Dante: Good, put some fear into them. Now we lay low for a while until it's time to strike again. I have Hobbs, The Shaws, and Cipher to take out, and last I heard, they can give two fucks about Toretto's family.

Aimes: So we won't have to worry about Dom's family trying to come after us.

Dante: Oh, don't underestimate them now. I just put some time between us, because they have three funerals to plan.

(Dante sits back and laughs as he twirls in his seat looking at the monitors.)

(In Portugal, Brian escorts Letty and Mia out of the morgue after they see both Dom and Jakob. Letty is so out of it that they are concerned for her mental health.)

Mia: We need to get them back to the Canary Islands.

Brian: I will make some phone calls.

Mia: Letty?

(She turns and sees Letty walking a little ways behind zoned out.)

Brian: Hey Let?

Letty: (looks up) Hmm.

Mia: We think it's best to head home. We can bring the boys back and have a memorial, or whichever you'd like.

Letty: Can we not think about that right now? They still haven't found Little B's body yet and I just can't leave without finding him.

(Letty feeling overwhelmed, pushes past them and heads out of the hospital. She is pacing by the car biting her nails as she feels like the world just crashed down on top of her.)

Mia: Letty why don't we go get something to eat?

Letty: Not hungry.

Mia: You haven't eaten anything since we got to Costa Rica and I'm concerned.

Letty: I'm fine.

Brian: Let, come on just eat something. You can't starve yourself like this, Dom wouldn't...

Letty: (gets angry) Dom wouldn't what Brian? If you forgot, Doms is not here anymore. (starts crying) He's gone and he is never coming back. He promised Mia, he promised that after this we would all come home. They are gone and I am stuck here all alone and ain't shit I can do about it.

(Letty is so angry and sad that she balls her fist up and punches the window of the back passenger side and it breaks. Ignoring the pain and sickening crunch of bones breaking she hits it repeatedly. Brian rushes up behind her and grabs her before she can do more damage.)

Brian: Letty stop!

Letty: Let me go.

Brian: No, you're hurting yourself.

Letty: (fights him) Let me the fuck go now.

Mia: Letty stop your bleeding.

Letty: I don't care! Let me bleed to death so I can be with them.

(Hearing this makes Mia scared for her safety and she moves towards them and holds on to her from the front.)

Mia: I'm not going to let you do that Letty. You're the only family I have left and I'm not going to lose you again.

Letty: (breaks) I just want him to get up Mia. We had so much left to do and now he's gone. My world doesn't exist without him, I can't breathe, I can't eat, or sleep without him. I just want them back Mia, I just want them back.

Mia: (holds her tight) I know sweetie, so do I.

(Letty just sits still as her body shakes and she feels nauseous as she sees the blood and broken bones. Feeling bike rise in her throat as she tries to fight it but once the smell hits her nose she loses it.)

Letty: (gag) I'm going to be sick.

Mia: What?

Letty: I need to...

(She doesn't get the words out before she pushes off of Mia just in time to puke her guts up, or what's left of them. She gags as her body fights trying to expel what was left in her stomach.)

Mia: I got you Let, just let it out.

Letty: What's wrong with me?

Mia: You're going through a traumatic time and you haven't been taking care of yourself.

Brian: We need to get her back inside to get her hand looked at.

Letty: No, I can't go back in there.

Mia: Letty your hand is a mess sweetie.

Letty: (cries) I can't.

Brian: Look, Letty, I know you're hurt right now, we all are. Dom was my brother and he wouldn't stop at anything to get revenge. But right now you have to take care of yourself so we can go take Dante down.

(Letty looks up at him for a moment before she sighs.)

Letty: Ok, I will do this and then we keep searching for my son. I just want it to be us, leave everyone else out of it.

Brian: Ok, now let's get you inside.

(He reaches down and helps her up as Mia supports her from the back. Just as she was about to take a step her legs gave out and he had to catch her. He hooks an arm under her legs and lifts her into his arms.)

Brian: I got you Let.

Mia: Just let us be here for you.

(She doesn't respond but she lets him carry her inside and then she's placed on a bed. They took her for x-rays and found out she had broken her wrist, and three fingers, and had deep cuts. She also was severely dehydrated which left her weak and disoriented. So she spent four hours in surgery to fix her hand and had to stay overnight to get her halfway together. By morning, she was forced to eat but it didn't stay down for long so they gave her crackers and ice chips.)
