Mi Familia: Ride or Die!

Part 16

(It was around noon when Isabel arrived and was shown to the guestroom where she was going to be staying. After she was settled she was sent to finally meet her nephew and Letty. Letty was in the kitchen with Mia when she came in and she looked at her.)

Isabel: Hey.

Letty: Hi!

Mia: (smiles) Hey, did you get settled?

Isabel: (nervous) Yes, thanks again for having me.

Mia: It's no problem.

(It gets awkward for a second before she goes to sit next to Letty.)

Isabel: We haven't been properly introduced, I'm Isabel, Elena's sister.

Letty: I'm Letty.

Mia: So, no offense but I didn't know Elena had a sister.

Isabel: We weren't that close until a year before she was killed.

Mia: She was an incredibly great woman.

Isabel: Yeah, she was always more caring than I was. She was the princess and I was rebellious, always causing trouble. But she always looked out for me even when I didn't notice.

Mia: (smiles) Yeah, that was Dom.

Isabel: (looks down) He was a nice guy from the brief time I was around him. He saved my life that night and I will always be grateful.

Letty: So what's next for you?

Isabel: Right now, I just want to get to know Little B.

Letty: He is outback I'm sure he would love to meet you.

Mia: We kind of told him already before you got here.

Isabel: (nods) I appreciate that.

(She thanks Letty again before she gets up to go outback. As she closes the sliding door, Mia looks at Letty.)

Letty: What?

Mia: Nothing.

Letty: I'm going to keep a close eye on her.

Mia: Letty?

Letty: I don't know her alright and we don't need any more drama.

Mia: I understand.

Letty: Now I'm going to go lay down, this baby is draining the hell out of me.

Mia: (giggle) I still can't believe you're going to have a baby.

Letty: I'll see you in a bit.

Mia: Get some rest I got Little B.

Letty: Thanks, Mia.

(She gets up and heads upstairs and climbs in bed, burying herself under the covers. She closes her eyes as she thinks of Dom and how he would have reacted. She may be there for a minute before exhaustion takes over her body and falls to sleep.)

(It's Saturday and everyone started showing up at their house. Letty was outside watching the kids play as she tried to take her mind off what happened. Isabel was sitting next to her smiling as she watched Little B and his cousins.

(Mia and Ramsey were in the kitchen when she heard the doorbell before the guard told her who was there.)

Darren: Mrs. O'Connor I have Mr. Nobody and his family here.

Mia: Ok, let them in.

(Mia was putting out some of the food before she went to answer the door.)

Mr. Nobody: Mia hey.

Mia: Hey it's been a while.

Mr. Nobody: Yeah, been busy.

Mia: Come on in.

(He walks in and he has a woman and a younger woman behind him.)

Mr. Nobody: Mia I would like to introduce you to my wife Marcela and our daughter Catalina (Cat) for short.

Marcela: Hello Mia.

Catalina: Hi!

(Mia instantly gives the wife a look feeling a sense of recognition, by brushes it off. She turns the their daughter and can't help but notice how familiar she looks.)

Mia: Um come on in everyone else is out back. We have just a few more minutes before the food is ready.

Mr.Nobody: Alright, thanks again for having us.

Mia: Not a problem your family.

(Mr. Nobody shows his family the direction to head outside. Once they were out Ramsey looked at Mia trying to see why she had that look on her face.)

Ramsey: What's wrong?

Mia: I don't know but I just got a feeling of Deja Vu.

Ramsey: From the wife?

Mia: Yeah, she looks familiar but I can't place it.

Ramsey: (makes a face) Well with all the people you all been around I'm sure that's probably it.

Mia: (shakes her head) No, this is deeper.

(Ramsey looks outback before she finishes what she is putting together. Outside Letty was playing catch with her niece Olivia. She looks up as she spots Mr. Nobody coming her way with a woman on his arm and a younger version of the woman next to her.)

Letty: Olivia sweetie can you play with your brother, Tia Let has to go say hi to our guest.

Olivia: Sure.

(Letty throws the ball as she walks towards Mr. Nobody and she assumes his girlfriend as she looks out at the view.)

Letty: Mr. Nobody it's good to see you.

Mr. Nobody: Hello Letty how are you?

Letty: Just taking it a day at a time.

Mr. Nobody: I hear congrats are in order.

Letty: (sad smile) Which one couldn't hold water?

Mr. Nobody: (chuckle) I'm sure you know the answer to that one.

Letty: Roman? I'm going to kill him.

Mr. Nobody: Hey I was going to find out soon. But while I have you here, I want you to meet my wife and daughter.

Letty: (gives him a look) I've met your daughter, and I still owe her for stabbing me.

Mr. Nobody: Not Tess, I have a younger daughter named Cat.

Letty: Wow, a secret life no one knows about?

(He looks behind him and calls them over.)

Mr. Nobody: No, but they would rather be behind the scenes.

Letty: I bet!

(As his wife and daughter come over, Letty gets a look at the wife, and it's like she hit with deja vu.)

Mr. Nobody: Letty I'd like you to meet my daughter Cat and my wife.....

Letty: (shocked) Mom?

(Mr. Nobody looks at Letty and then back to his wife who has the look of fear on her face.)

Mr. Nobody: What? Letty, are you ok?

Letty: (starts to hyperventilate) Mom? This can't be...I thought you were.

(Feeling light-headed and nauseated she tried to take a deep breath but she couldn't breathe. Before anyone can do anything, her eyes roll back and she drops to the ground. Isabel seeing what happened came running to try and get her to wake up.)
