(By the time Letty gets back home everyone is asleep except for Mia. She tosses her keys on the counter as she makes her way to the sofa. She sits down and gives Mia a sad smile as she touches the necklace.)

Mia: Did the drive help?

Letty: No!

Mia: This is all too surreal.

Letty: (looks at her) I hate this.

Mia: What?

Letty: These hormones have me all over the place.

Mia: (chuckle) They are the worst.

Letty: (closes her eyes and sighs) I wish he was here. I could use one of his hugs and words of wisdom right about now.

Mia: That's it? I know how those pregnant hormones can be. And when are you going to tell Little B?

Letty: Well I wasn't gonna say that, but I need him now more than ever. I don't know whether to be angry, sad, cry, or frustrated. I miss our cuddles and god my body just aches for him. As far as Little B, I wanted to wait until I was in the clear. I don't want to put too much on him

Mia: (looks sad) I wish you weren't going through this right now. I miss him so much, my kids ask about him every day.

Letty: Little B sneaks into my room some nights because he thinks that the bad guy will take me away. It's hard seeing the pain in his eyes when I look at him.

Mia: We will never stop grieving, just have to take it one day at a time and learn how to be ok with it.

Letty: (sigh) Never in a million years did I think this is where we would be.

Mia: (hugs her) I'm here for whatever you and Little B need.

Letty: Thanks Mia, I really couldn't do this without you.

Mia: We lean on each other and when you're ready to face your mom I'll be here.

Letty: (groan) God of all times, she shows back up now. I didn't have anything to say to her after she left me because she couldn't take being a parent anymore.

Mia: Look you do not need any more added stress. I think you should hear it.

Letty: (roller her eyes) Mia?

Mia: What?

(Unknown to them, Marcela was standing in the hall listening as she contemplated on whether should she try to talk to her daughter.)

Letty: She abandoned me, why should I have to hear her out?

Marcela: (hesitant) Because I was young and felt like a failure.

(Letty whips her head up seeing her mother come from the shadows. Marcela is eyeing her as she twists her fingers nervously. Mia is speechless as she watches mother and daughter react to one another.)

Letty: (gets up) I'm going to bed.

Marcela: Leticia can we talk, please?

Letty: (gets upset) I have nothing to say to you.

Marcela: Please...

Letty: Please what huh? What are you going to tell me how sorry you are for abandoning me? I was only sixteen years old when you decided that being a mother was too much for you. So no, I'm not going to give you a second to try and justify your actions 24 years ago.

Marcela: I was sick Leti.. Letty. It was hard for me trying to juggle everything and keep my sanity.

Letty: And that made it ok? I thought that after a while of not hearing from you, you were dead.

Marcela: No, god no but I knew you were in good hands. Jack and I had a conversation about it before I left.

Mia: (looks shocked) What?

Letty: Don't you try and put this on him? That's just your excuse for giving up on your only kid.

(Just then they heard footsteps and Letty looked up and saw her son and now she knows her baby sister.)

Little B: Mom?

Letty: B go back to bed ill be right there.

Little B: But...

Letty: Go, I'll be right up Bubba.

(He gives her a look before he turns to go back to his room.)

Mia: I can go see....

Letty: (looks at her mother) No, I'm done here.

(She gives her mom a look before she heads up the stairs passing her sister without even acknowledging her. She makes it to B's room and sees him sitting up in bed.)

Little B: Mom what's going on? Who is that lady?

Letty: Let's not worry about that right now ok? Let's get you back to bed.

Little B: I'm not a baby anymore Mom. You were arguing and you were loud.

Letty: I'm sorry.

Little B: I heard Uncle Brian talking and he said that that lady is your mom. Is that lady your mom?

Letty: (sigh) Yes but it's a long story and I'm too tired to get into that story.

Little B: I think you should talk to her. Dad always said that no matter what happened, we will always be family. And family never turn their backs on family, even when they do.

(Letty has to bite her lip to keep from becoming emotional from his dad's quote.)

Letty: (chuckles) He did.

Little B: So talk to her mom. Sometimes I wish I could talk to my mother, but I know she's watching over me just like Papa.

Letty: (tears fall) Yes they are watching over you, baby. Look I will think about it if you go to sleep in the next five minutes buba.

Little B: (hugs her) I will. I love you mami.

Letty: (kisses his head) I love you more bud. Now go to sleep.

Little B: You too! Goodnight.

Letty: Goodnight.

(She gets up and helps him under the covers before she pulls up the sheet to tuck him in. He snuggles under the cover and closes his eyes as she walks to the door. She turned off the light and closed the door leaving a crack in it before making her way to her room. She showers as she wash away the hurt before she gets into bed. She lay there on her side with one hand on her belly and the other pulling the pillow to her face as she finally broke down and cried. She cries for Little B, her unborn child, Dom, her mother, and herself.)
