(It's been two days and between the morning sickness (all day sickness) Letty was finally ready to confront her mother. She was just finishing brushing her teeth after a round of vomiting when she looked up seeing her mother.)

Marcela: I heard you being sick so I wanted to check on you.

Letty: (wipes her mouth) I'm fine. Can I please have some privacy?

Marcela: Ok!

(She moves away from the door and goes to the bedroom to wait for her to come out. She was looking through some letters when she heard her and looked up.)

Letty: Look I don't have time for this right now I have to get my son off to school.

Marcela: Oh, Mia told me to tell you that she was going to bring him.

Letty: (sigh) Great!

Marcela: So I have a grandson?

Letty: I have a son yes.

Marcela: And another on the way?

Letty: Huh?

Marcela: I know it can be hard in the beginning.

Letty: (gives her a look) What can?

Marcela: Morning sickness.

Letty: What makes you think I'm pregnant?

Marcela: Letty you have been sick since I been here. I've had kids so I know the symptoms and you're as pale as a ghost

Letty: Why did you leave?

Marcela: You've always been straightforward. Remember when you were about ten years old...

Letty: Don't try to change the subject. Answer my question.

Marcela: Alright, you want to know why I left? I left because I was sick in the head and I felt like I was no good for you. The only time you were happy was when you were at Jack and I saw how much his family cared for you.

Letty: So that gave you a reason to just give up your rights and leave me?

Marcela: It wasn't easy to trust me.

Letty: So why not keep in touch or come back for me?

Marcela: Because by the time you were eighteen, you were an adult and I figured you were better off.

Letty: (chuckle) Yeah well I wasn't. I couldn't figure out for the life of me why my mother left me. I cried many nights asking god what did I to deserve that.

Marcela: Baby, I thought I was doing what was best for you back then.

Letty: No, you did what was best for you.

Marcela: You had Dom you didn't need me.

Letty: (makes a face) You couldn't stand him so please don't.

Marcela: I didn't, but you ate, breathed, and lived Dominic Toretto. I thought you were too young, but I knew when you set your heart on something or someone, there wasn't anything I could have done.

Letty: Funny you haven't even mentioned him until now.

Marcela: I heard what happened and I'm sorry. Letty, I'm not here to cause you any more pain than I have. I just want to spend whatever time I have here to make up for the time I missed.

(Letty goes to sit next to her mother.)

Letty: Look whatever happens here between us now will take time. I only agreed to hear you out because of my son. And I don't need any added stress because what happened is stressful enough.

Marcela: Ok, I'll follow your lead. I just want to get back into your good graces and if you will allow, a relationship with you and the kids.

Letty: (nods) Does Mr. Nobody know your story?

Marcela: No, and trust me he is not pleased. Cat has been asking questions and I just don't know what to say.

Letty: Just tell them the truth.

Marcela: Right!

(It gets quiet for a second as Marcela takes in her oldest daughter. Letty feeling awkward looks at her out of the corner of her eye.)

Letty: What?

Marcela: You're beautiful.

Letty: Please I'm a mess.

Marcela: No, you're glowing.

(Letty turns toward her mother and takes her hands in hers.)

Letty: I'm not going to lie, I've missed you.

Marcela: (tearful chuckle) You have no idea.

Letty: His did you keep all of this from?

Marcela: From Kirk.

Letty: Kirk? That's his name? Wow!!

Marcela: Yeah, I'm the only one who gets to call him that. But I had my ways and special friends who helped. I kept tabs on you for a while until that day you died. I was devastated, and I prayed a lot and it was like he heard me because I found out you were alive but you didn't remember anything. I just wish I would have come back sooner, but it just wasn't the right time. I hope that one day you will forgive me for the pain I put you through.

Letty: I forgave you a long time ago mami. It will take time but I'm willing to try only if you promise to be here.

Marcela: I promise to visit a lot and call a lot from here on out, and I want you to get to know Cat.

Letty: You need to talk to her first, but you can tell me a little about her.

Marcela: I can do that.

(Marcela smiles before she pulls her daughter into her arms and Letty lets her. She relaxes against her mother for the first time in 24 years and holds on tight. Marcela rubs her back and kisses her head as she tells her about her sister. Before long she feels her daughter deep breathing and knows she's asleep. As tears fall from her eyes she gently places her on the bed and covers her with a blanket before she leaves.)

(In Rome, Dom was lying on his bed as he stared up at the ceiling. His mind would wander to Little B hoping that he was doing ok. His body craved Letty, it was killing him being away from her this long. He sighs as he thinks back to that night they shared before the shit hit the fan and he smiles. Deep in his thoughts, he makes it his mission to find and kill Dante sooner rather than later. So he came up with a plan to execute in two months, so he could go home to his family.)
