As Itadori laid in his new extremely tiny apartment, he thought about everything that happened throughout the day but before he could even think about anything, his dangling feet hit the edge of the bed, causing him to jump in slight pain. This goddamn apartment was way too small for him, not even small, tiny As Itadori sat up in his small bed, he looked around at his closet-like room with barely any room.

There was a small desk without a chair in one corner of the room, a bed that took up most of the room in the living space in the middle, and the kitchen was barely big enough to actually cook anything without burning anything or setting his clothes on fire. The bath was even worse, the shower head was barely taller than him, the sink barely had any space to put anything on it, and the tub was the size of a young child. That damn rat hated him and it had to do something with that necklace hanging onto his chest.

And yet, even with all of these problems, Yuji found it somewhat nice, considering that he hadn't felt human and safe for a good minute. No more hanging around random places for a day before running away because of him getting chased, anything was better than those days.

He stretched a bit as he stood up, his hands almost touching the ceiling of his new living space. With that, the stench of his underarms quickly forced itself into his nose, just that made him hastily run to the shower. His clothes were quickly peeled off, the blood drying down on his skin and making him stick to his clothes. The water was harsh and it felt like pebbles tumbling off his body but it did the job. The blood quickly washed off, even the dried blood that was sticking to the hair on his body and the top of his head. The little hotel-like bar of soap was more than enough to clean him up and made him smell... normal at least. With the towel that was on the ground, he quickly dried his body down, not bothering to look at himself in the mirror, he had seen enough of his scared face before this.

"Your scars are much deeper than they look, young boy?" the old nurse lady said in a questioning tone as she cleaned away at his scars. The 100% alcohol burned at his opened skin but Yuji made sure not a single peep of noise left his mouth as she cleaned,

"Sorry for making you this work-" Yuji started, his voice a bit more healed and clearer than before,

"-It's fine" She smiled at him, giving him some bandages, "Just put these on when you go home, after you shower!" Itaodri nodded, a bit of blush landing on his cheeks,

"Thank you..." His voice croaked a bit, the nurse was so sweet, to the point that the pink head started to cry a bit which led to a few kind words from the shorter figure and a tissue.

Yuji quickly put on the bandages, not looking at his own pale brown, lifeless eyes. Nobody would want to look at themselves if they knew they looked like that. The white bandages covered most of his face, one of his eyes, the side of his mouth, and both of the sides of his face. He stared at himself, god he was ugly. The boy tried to laugh off the stupid comment that he made himself, but no matter how much he chuckled at himself, it hurt, it hurt, it hurt, it hurt. His eyes were already red and pained but the tears continued to flow, going down his cheeks as he struggled to move himself to the bed.

After he had left that bathroom, trying to cover the fact that he threw up what felt like his skull, they had him do tests with his "quirk" and his smarts, and somehow, the rat they decided to put him in class 1A, all the teachers looked shocked.

Some said that it wasn't safe to put a random kid that they knew nothing about in class 1-A. After all, what if he was a villain-sent boy? The others said that it was just stupid, and the scruffy-haired man complained under his breath about how "he couldn't handle another problem child" whatever that meant.
