Stitch and Angel

Valentine's Day

"I can't believe that it's Valentine's Day tomorrow,"Stitch says to Lilo as he jumps out of bed. "What am I going to get Angel!" Lilo rubs her eyes and sits up in her bed.

"Since it's your very first Valentine's Day together you'll have to get her something really special,"Lilo answers climbing out of her bunkbed.

" I know, I know.... but what?" Stitch says wandering round in circles in Lilo's bedroom which is all space themed and has loads of pictures, mainly of random people on the beach, but some are of her and Stitch. Before she met stitch she didn't have any friends and it was just her and Nani in the house so she had to find something to do.

"Well Nani is writing a poem for David which I don't think you will really want to do for Angel, but she is also buying him some chocolates, which as we know are her favourite food to eat."

"Yeah, great idea. This is going to be the best Valentine's Day ever!"Stitch says jumping up and down.

Lilo and Stitch quickly get ready and then they walk down the the empty morning streets of Hawaii. Since the Island is so small they decided to walk to the the shops along the beach. There is no one else at the beach so all you can here is the waves lapping onto the shore. There is a small sparkling object on the sand in the distance which catches Stitch's eye. "Ooooh....shiny." As they move closer to it they can see that it is a new shiny and glittery shell which has just washed up onto shore. The shell is pale pink which turns to white at the tips. " I should give this to Angel with the chocolates I buy her, and also I'll buy some beads so that she can wear it as a necklace."

"Great idea Stitch!"

Once they reach the main shopping street, there is a lot of people crowding around doing their normal Saturday morning shop. They spot Anna's Craft's shop and walk in their with hopes of finding some beads for the necklace Stitch would like to make for Angel. At the far left side of the shops there were rows full of beads all different shapes, sizes and colours. There were loads to chose from. "I would like pale blue and pale pink circular beads to make up the chain for the necklace, so we better get searching," Stitch explain to Lilo. Stitch looked on the right side of the isle and Lilo looked on the left. They passed dozens of colours and saw many beads in the right colour, but not in the right shape. The searched high and low but they could not find the right beads that Stitch wanted.

 "Oh no, we're never going to find the right beads!" However, just as Lilo said that Stitch pick up two boxes of beads that were pale blue and pink beads in the perfect shape and size, plus they even came with a kit which had a piece of white string which will be great to use to put the beads on. That was that part of the gift sorted out finely, now all that they have to do is find the right chocolates to give to Angel.

Lilo and Stitch had walked in and out of loads of shops and still couldn't find the right chocolates to give to Angel. " Wait a minute, David's brother John owns a chocolate shops just up the road from here, maybe he'll be able to make us something special for angel."

"Yay, chocolates for Angel!" Finally they arrived at John's chocolate shops where John was standing at the door as they arrived.

"Would you be able to make something special for Stitch to give to Angel for their very first Valentine's Day together." Lilo says pleadingly to John.

"Sure, anything for Nani's little sister,"John replies. "Now have you got any special ideas in mind?"

"Well I was thinking of a chocolate figure that looks exactly like Angel, I've got a picture here of her that you can use to copy off." Stitch says ecstatically

" Erm...well...I think...I'll give it a try." John says not very convincingly. 

"Yay, this is going to be the best Valentines Day ever!"

After four attempts and hours of hard work, they have eventually finished making the chocolate for Angel which looked perfect! Lilo and Stitch have everything now for Angel for Valentine's Day. They both walk back to their house along the beach again, the lovely sunset casting a beautiful orange tinge to the evening sky. 

Once they arrive back they quickly rush up to their room to do the last touches to Angel's Valentine's Day present. First Stitch engraved a message to the back of the shell which read: 'I <3 U Angel', then he threaded the beads onto the necklace and then put it into a small pink box to keep it safe. After that he wrapped up the box which held the chocolate Angel in it. The wrapping paper is dark pink with light pink hearts on it. Lastly he wrote out a card to Angel which had a teddy bear on the front holding a banner that reads 'Your my Valentine', then Stitch wrote on the inside 'To Angel, Happy Valentine's Day, you will always be my Ohana. Lots of love from Stitch x '. Then Stitch put the presents and card on the little table in their bedroom ready for tomorrow.

The next morning Stitch wakes up early because he is so excited to give Angel her present. However Angel isn't coming until lunch time so Stitch still has a long time to wait. Later on, everyone else gets up out of bed and they all eat love heart shaped pancakes for breakfast. " I can't wait to give Angel her present, I hope she really likes it" Stitch says really excitedly.

"Calm down, and I'm sure she's going to love it" Nani says still eating her pancakes.

Eventually, it's lunch time and David followed by Angel appear at the driveway. "Yay, Angel's here, she's really, really here!" Stitch says bouncing up and down. Angel runs in-front of David and opens the door and both Stitch and Angel shout "Happy Valentine's Day" to each other. Stitch grabs his present and Angel, Stitch and Lilo head outside and sit on the hammock with Lilo sitting on the steps. Both Stitch and Angel exchange presents but Stitch lets Angel open her's first. "Thank you, thank you so much I absolutely love it, I'll wear this really pretty necklace every day now and the chocolate is just amazing. Thank you so much again Stitch," Angel says then bends over and give Stitch a kiss. Then Stitch opens his present off Angel and he gets a Surfboard which has a picture of of Angel and Stitch on it and a chocolate figure of which is of Stitch! "Thank you so much Angel!"Stitch says and gives Angel a kiss and says "I love you."

"I love you too Stitch!"

Angel and Stitch sit talking on the hammock for the rest of the day having the best day beyond anything that they have dreamed of.  Before Angel has to leave Stitch says "You'll always be my Ohana Angel."

"You'll always be my Ohana too Stitch!"
