Russia laid on his stomach as he peered into the ballroom below him.Various groups of dressed up humans were scattered throughout the room, mostly chatting or drinking. Even from behind a thick wall of glass he could hear soft music playing.
'Is this all humans do?' A look of boredom appeared on his face. And to think these were the people who exterminated his race.
His brows furrowed slightly as he scanned the room once more with no sight of the prince.
The moon hung low in the sky, casting a dim blue light over everything, contrasted by the warm orange glow from the extravagant party.
Seeing that the prince was no where in his view, he scanned around for guards, strangely enough he didn't seen any while making his way up to the roof. There wasn't a single one protecting the gala either.
A small smile creeped on Russias face as he swung his legs behind him, like a school girl talking about her crush on a bed, and lightly bobbing his head to the elegant band's melody.
At least he had some nice music while he waited.
The band suddenly became quieter than it was, as did all the other people in the room.
Russias curious gaze shifted over to the door of the room, two young men had stepped into the ballroom.
At first he looked at the one behind the other one, pin straight black hair and a overall lackluster presence was all that he saw. After he was done he studied the other man.
His gaze hardened as his entire body tensed.
The man he was looking was without a doubt the prince, and the rumors he heard did not lie.
Pale skin, perfectly brushed and styled hair, paired with a tailored outfit that probably costed a small fortune met Russias eyes.
The prince walked forward with arrogance, not sparring a single gaze to the people around him.
Even from 30 feet above Russia could see his dead blue eyes that were highlighted by the prominent dark circles that lay under them.
Russias eyes followed the prince as he walked across the room to a nearby window and stood aimlessly, like he was bored.
He didn't do anything for a while, that was until Russia saw the subtle change in his face and perfect postures. They turned stiff and annoyed and his head turned.
Russia followed his gaze to a duo of middle aged women who were frozen, he tilted his head slightly in confusion with a puzzled expression on his face. He didn't see anything old about the two women, in all honesty they looked like everyone else at this damned party.
A sharp sound of glass breaking caused Russia to look back at the prince, he however was now holding a poor servants shirt in his hand.
Bewildered by the sight, Russia quickly stammered to his feet, almost about to break the glass with his foot that separated him from the scene in front of him.
Well he was if not for the sudden rush of blue that got to the prince first.
Russia paused as he gazed at the human? They looked all to familiar with their sharp features, ice blue eyes, and ear cuff that had a pure white feather on it. He could swear he had seen them in the past, or at least someone like them.
Seeing as how the odd person seemed to be handling the situation at hand and all the other aristocrats were returning back into their previous conversations, it appeared to be the perfect time to set his plan into motion.
